Just a small guide for beginners, because most info on this topic is either outdated or confusing (many opinions, reddit, etc) :)
Everything stated in this guide was tested and confirmed multiple times.

Base XP ~23k
Max XP ~63k
2. Bandit Raid/Camp
(only 5 times per week)

All units maxed (all XP gained = shared XP):

Base XP ~68k
Max XP ~187k

Playing a non maxed unit:

Base XP ~53k, Shared XP ~21k -> Total XP ~74k
Max XP ~143k, Shared XP ~55k -> Total XP ~198k ->>> ALWAYS bring & use non maxed unit !!!

Note: XP doesnt scale significantly with unit kills
-> tests made clear even 40 kills yield almost max XP (<10k difference)

3. Stackable Boosters
Mercenaries +10%
Premium +30%
Marshals Book +50%
XP-Cards +50%
Blessings (only through occasionally events) +30%
Group Bonus +5%

Max possible boost +175% (known to me)
