Getting Started
(Author note: This guide is a heavy WIP, so expect more content over a few weeks n stuff)

Intoduction:

Mini Empires is an unofficial "gamemode" for Blockland that involves player making miniature cities and militaries in order to interact with other empires. Time periods may vary, but there are 3 main "eras" or types of MERPS (Mini Empire Role Play Servers), Medieval, Modern, and Future.

Basics:

"How do I make an empire?" First, you create a city with housing and reasonable amounts of resources to sustain it (Resources will mainly be used in Medieval, like mines and farms). After you've done this, you can create your military. Your military will be consisting of footsoldiers, tanks, battleships, spaceships, or whatever the era of the server allows. Military is a notably significant part of Mini Empires, as it allows you to defend yourself and attack other empires. Trading, while mainly only a notable part of Medieval MERPS, allows you to obtain resources, materials, and weapons you would not be able to get otherwise. Also, many reputable MERPS use a mod that allows you to speak as your empire by placing a "<" in front of your message.

Building Mini:

Building miniature buildings and tanks can take a significant amounts of practice, and can take tens of hours of MERPS to become adept at. My advice to you, reader, is ADD DETAILS. Think of what makes a regularly sized build look appealing, then apply it to your mini builds!
This is War!
Battle:

Here comes the exciting part of MERPS; WAR! This is accomplished by placing your expertly crafted units to oppose your enemy. Remember, you can move your units by duplicating (I hope to Shrek you know what that is) the plate they're built upon, then wanding said plate and placing the dup elsewhere.

Dice:

Most reputable MERPS use a mod that adds the chat command "/dice (number of sides here)" to determine various events, such as attack damage. The system varies from server to server, but using the system from my MERPS as an example:

1-3: No damage or miss
4-5: Minor Damage
6-8: Average Damage
9-10: Double Damage

Note that damage is relative to the base strength of the unit, so that means some guy off the street a trained Demoknight can't 1 shot a superheavy tank!

Things not to do
General Tidbits:

1. Godmodding is where you have or do something that is widely considered "overpowered".
2. Warmongering is when you attack weak or new empires. Many people think this is being asinine.
3. Some servers require that start out small, like a village, then grow into a city/empire.
