A new chapter of TW3 modding unfolds

Well friends, the time is finally here! Wide spread custom audio for mods is finally a reality.

To celebrate this occasion we've got a fun little mod for you all! This is a basic legendary hero mod that gives players Nosso Da Schnozzla, a Gnoblar with a full custom skill tree and a body guard unit - Nosso's Trappaz.

Nosso is fully voiced by Tristan Derriks and is available immediately on turn 1 to any that are using any Greenskin, Ogre Kingdom, or Chaos Dwarf faction (must be controlled by human player).


Requirements to play this mod

This mod does require the new sound mixer by Pear and Based Memes shown in the requirements table as well as Mixu's faction unlocker. You will also need to meet the dlc requirements for your desired faction. There's not much else besides that so enjoy!

Q: Is this mod compatible with xyz overhaul?
A: No idea, it wasn't built to be, so likely no.

Q: Will the sound in this mod work with xyz mod?
A: If it's incorporated with the sound mixer then yes. If no, then possibly no.

Hey @BasedMeme, that's fantastic! Thx for the in-depth reply. Kudos for all the work you guys invest in these fantastic mods, and it definitely shows - pushing the envelope with audio modding deserves extra rounds of applause *standing up and clapping* <3 Keep up the great work!

Ah ok is that the sfx_general channel? Oh I think I see "sample submissions" cool. I'll have a look into is I'm not completely convinced myself on how the COU and general vampire like units should sound haha but Dwarves, I can do. Orcs and Goblins, I can do and a bunch of others if need be :).

Anyway this guy sounds great, really suits how the character "looks" as well so congratulations 😁

Hey Soulmind, I updated champions of Undeath tonight. It’s got a ton of new voice over.

Wow, that's really cool guys! I'm usually not big on playing Greenskinz but will give Da Schnoozla a try asap coz I wanna hear the results, what's possible, how it all soundz <3

I am pretty big on audio though, worked almost 20 yearrs in the industry. Just got into using the 2 mods that can really improve the WH3 overall sound experience with a nice combo of settings.

So obviously this is now a showcase for modded audio, then there's Smart Throgg, there's custom audio in OvN's Araby (at least there's a male voice I think) - which mod has the largest amount of custom audio content so far, if I may ask?

Brilliant! Great work :D! He sounds great. Do you need anymore Greenskin characters voicing? I've been working on their voices for a while now...I could do a an Orc, a Goblin or whatever really! Can't wait to see, and hear, more stuff!
