The general consensus is that all fade skins are pretty random, most of them follow the 412:763 Rule (412 = 80%; 763 = 100%). The Karambit, Talon and AWP are the opposite (412 = 100%; 763 = 80%), and MP7 is the only fade skin that is completely different with pattern 80 being 100% fade (This is a whole other story). So although each item may have a different pattern number, or physical look (more blue, more yellow, etc.), it is almost as if those 100% fades were decided around one skin, one pattern, the Specialist Gloves | Fade Pattern 490. Bellow I will break down each weapon fade skin with the gloves.

I have decided to start with the MP7, as this is the easiest one to visualize. When inspecting the MP7, the only part of the glove that is shown is the wristband. The blue line is where the division between blue and red is happening, and it's almost seamless from MP7 to glove.

Now lets take a look at the other side of the fade template, the AWP fade is 100% with more yellow, ever wonder why? Take a close look at the left wristband and right fingers below. The transition of yellow left to red/blue right across the fade gloves pattern 490 is evident.

1. The left wristband transitions yellow red, perfectly across the front of the awp, as well as the Tortue plate on the left hand.
2. The yellow on the middle finger of the right glove, goes perfectly with the yellow inside of the trigger whole.
3. The ring and picky fingers are then transitioning red to blue perfectly with the color of the handle.

Both pistols share the 763=100% Fade Rule, but they also share the FOV that makes it difficult to see the wristband. So we'll have to take a look at the fingers once again. You can see how the transition across the fingers goes from yellow to blue, perfectly aligned with the fade template on the guns. Middle finger, which is the closest to the left side is yellow. The ring finger is red, just like the middle of the fade template, and lastly the pinky is red/blue just like the back of the hand guns.

MAC-10 follows the rules similarly to the handguns due to it's small size. The FOV and inspection does in fact make it difficult to see the gloves and gun combo. But if we take a screenshot in the middle of the inspect, you can see the handgun fade template rules apply here as well.

PLAYSIDE
Now the section you all were waiting for. The single most important knife in the fade collection has in fact the most to show to support the 490 Glove pattern. The Karambit Fade 100% has a perfect transition on the play side with the yellow transitioning on the wristband and tortue plate perfectly. The purple/blue is aligned outside of the wristband range so that all the red is matching the visible wristband.


BACKSIDE
The inspect animation only offers the wristband to be displayed. This again shows a perfect transition of the fade template across the blade and wristband.

So although the Specialist Gloves | Fade do not follow a normal fade template pattern style, but more closely to a case hardened pattern. We can still determine what the 100% Fade Gloves would be based on this guide. The evidence is overwhelming, and it glues all the fade skins together like no other pattern. The beautiful thing is that a Factory New Pattern 490 has not been unboxed yet, so it gives us a legendary skin to look forward to be unboxed.
