About
This mod for Arma 3 hopes to add a diverse range of equipment, vehicles and aircraft used by the Indian Armed Forces from the 1980s to the present day. The current release includes the following:
  • Multiple unique uniforms in the new Digital-DPM pattern, PC-DPM (Woodland and Desert) and Palm-DPM
  • Accompanying helmets (including the Patka), vests and accessories
  • Helicopters in IAF Liveries, such as the Dhruv, Chinook, AH-64, Mi-17 and the Mi-35
  • Planes in IAF Liveries, such as the IL-76, C-130, E-2 Hawkeye, Mirage 2000, SEPECAT Jaguar and the MiG-29UPG
  • Naval assets such as the MiG-29K and the MH60
  • Indianized BAF Vehicles such as Tata LPTA Trucks, Mahindra Jeeps and Maruti Technicals.
  • Armoured assets like the T-72 Ajeya, T-90 Bhisma, BMP-2s and DRDO WhAPs/Tata Kestrels
  • APCs like the Mahindra ASLV and the OFB MPV 'Aditya'
  • Uniforms for units like the BSF, MARCOS, SFF, Garud and RR.
  • 60+ Indian patches

Additional aircraft such as the Su-30MKI, MiG-21 and more can be found in the Soviet Aircraft for Indian Armed Forces 2024 extension mod.

New items added in the v2 update:
  • HAL Chetak (Air Force, Navy and Army Livery)
  • Boeing 757 in Air India One Livery
  • NSG Uniforms and Vests
  • Special Forces Berets
  • Artillery like the K-9 Vajra and OFB Field Gun
  • RHS compatible AK-203

Future Development
This mod is a small community run project and would appreciate any contributions. If you want to contribute/discuss the mod with us or are generally interested in Arma 3 Mods and Maps set in the Indian subcontient, consider joining our discord[discord.gg], the Indian Subcontinent Modding Community. As of now out wishlist (not a roadmap) is as follows:
  • Adding a Sig-716 (We have a model but don't know how to put it into arma)
  • Building a Kalyani M4 from scratch
  • Replace temporary models and textures for the Arjun MBT and Kestrel
  • Some nice South Asian maps to go along with this mod

Well-made mod, is it possible to reskin the SU-30 from the POOK soviet air force mod and add it here? There’s no other good mods with the SU-30, and the indian air force currently operates the SU-30MKI.

The Mahindras have now been fixed into Marutis, They will now be like haha it's Maruting time and then they will Maruti all over the place.

As a child in the early 2000s, Raj always marveled at army vehicles passing through his small Indian town. His heart raced with excitement, envisioning himself driving one someday. His dream was to experience the thrill through a simulator, and he wished for a special mod featuring his favorite Maruti car.

Years passed, and technology advanced. Finally, after two decades, the much-awaited simulator mod was released. Raj, now a young man, eagerly downloaded it, hoping to find his cherished Maruti in the game. To his dismay, the mod featured a Mahindra logo instead.

Devastated, Raj couldn't shake off the disappointment. The familiar childhood dream of navigating army terrains in his beloved Maruti had crumbled. Despite the setback, Raj decided to embrace the new experience with the Mahindra vehicle, finding solace in the fact that his fascination for army life could still be fulfilled, albeit with a different brand.
