(Press Report Made by Sheriff Chad Brickienco)

At 5:13PM on January 18 Brickston County Sheriff Deputy's were dispatched to a domestic violence call on States Ave in a house near Paula Airstrip about a victim fighting with his estranged brother. Unbeknownst to arriving Deputy's, the victims brother had since shot and killed the victim and his family, two of which were children.

As two Deputy's arrived at the scene at 5:19PM and walked up to the door, the suspect shot through the glass hitting Deputy Shiner twice in the head, and one time in the vest. Deputy Alson quickly ran to cover at the back of his patrol car and called for backup.

A perimeter was set around the area and at 5:48PM the BCSO S.W.A.T Team came on to the scene and carefully extracted Deputy Shiner. He was quickly sent to Bricksville General Hospital in critical condition. The suspect remained barricaded in the house.

At 6:32PM the BCSO S.W.A.T Team made entry into the house and found the suspect dead, along with the caller (victim) and his family.
The suspect had apparently committed suicide inside the bathroom shortly after he shot Deputy Shiner.

Sadly Deputy Shiner died in the Hospital after 3 hours of intensive care. We will see you in heaven brother, thank you for your service, God bless. There will be a memorial service on Sunday at 10:00AM at Rose Park in Downtown Bricksville. Rest easy.

The suspect had FOUR prior felony's and the DA decided to let him out even though Brickslandia State 'strict' 3 strikes law says that if you commit a felony 3 times, then you go to prison for life. But the DA let him out and he killed one of our Deputy's.
The BCSO is thinking of taking legal action against this DA. (DA= District Attorney)
