After another tantrum, Ashley decides it's time to get some sleep, and she is summoned to the border world.

This episode doesn't contain any crucial plot choices but also serves as a potential Chekhov's gun.

The only choice that can be made in the chapter is the left or right door. We are interested in the right door because it's where Ashley learns about the existence of the demon world. This moment could potentially serve as a trigger for a future ending in the 3rd chapter.

Additionally, you can obtain a star and an achievement by picking up a gift in the left door. To do this, make sure to collect all the flowers in the previous location.

Upon waking up, Ashley and her brother find themselves in their parent's house. This part of the game is the most crucial for determining the endings, as it will decide whether your version of Chapter 3 will be the 'burial' or 'destruction.' Alternatively, this dichotomy can be described as 'reconciliation' or 'estrangement' with siblings.

All significant events unfold in the basement, and the game strongly leans towards leading us down the path of 'destruction,' offering us two chances to veer onto this track. Essentially, these choices determine the character's future life positions.

Before leaving home, the heroes decide to use a 'trinket'. At this moment, the influence of the choices made will be palpable.

If you have chosen the path of 'destruction', Ashley will sleep alone and experience a vision of her death. If you have preserved your gun, the heroine will have a chance to survive. In my view, these are potentially bad and the worst endings in the game.

In this ending, you can also achieve the final achievement by entering the door with a black lock instead of a white one.

If you have chosen the path of 'burial', Ashley will sleep with her stepbrother, and in this dream, you will make one of the most important choices in your life. Here, the game again tries to guide us onto the right path, as we have two more attempts to find a reasonable way. But we've already started this game, there's no turning back, so the choice of the path is obvious 😈. I would label these paths as 'good' and 'best'.
