Some history:

The JF-17 Thunder is a multi-role fighter aircraft designed as a joint program between Pakistan and China. The JF-17 is the Pakistani Air Force variant (With it being designated the FC-1 Xiaolong for the Chinese Air Force.)

The JF-17 was designed to fill the PAF (Pakistani Air Force)'s requirement for a lightweight and inexpensive fourth-generation multirole fighter to replace its aging fleet of Nanchang A-5C bombers, Chengdu F-7P/PG interceptors, and Dassault Mirage III/5 fighters.

Designing of the first prototype began in 2002, and it flew its first flight on August 25th, 2003. It wasn't until 2007 that the aircraft began to be produced. Pakistan currently has 146 JF-17s.

This setup is for A2A (air to air) and some air to ground.

4 Chinese PL-12/SD-10 Air to Air | Air to ground missiles
2 US Aim 9P wingtip close range Air to Air missiles.
1 23mm GSh-23 autocannon.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Features:

Decent maneuverability

Auto chaff/manual chaff

Working radio

RWR and radar targeting HUD

Weapons selector

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Controls:

Left side of the fuselage below the cockpit is a up arrow. Press to open the canopy.

In cockpit, the left most panel includes the main battery switch, and beside that the engine starter.
Wheel breaks (they start off) and canopy close buttons are also there.

Throttle is beside the engine control panel.

Under the screens is another panel which holds the flaps and landing gears.

The right most panel includes Auto Chaff (with a guage for chaff remaining), press 3 to manually fire chaff one by one. The panel also contains cruise control, which will hold altitude and level off roll for long straight flight.

The panel beside that holds the lights.

Below the auto chaff is the keypad for auto pilot. Press 5 after typing coordinates to engage.

On the bottom right is a monitor, a dial and an indicator. The monitor is heading. The indicator is to indicate whether the seat trigger is selected on Gun mode (dial on) or missile mode (dial off.) The dial is sort of hidden, but it is above the indicator and displays ammunition left in the magazine. Hover over the top left corner of the indicator block and you will see it.

the middle MFD is the radio. Touch the screen on the arrow buttons to change channels. Press 6 to talk (toggle)

Radar is top right, and artificial horizon is top left. In the HUD is a HUD with radar targeting and radar warning.

Bottom left is fuel consumption/efficiency.

Bottom middle/right 2x1 screen is the weapons selector. Here you can find 7 hardpoints lain out like they are on the wing. The wingtips are short range AIM-9Ps, the center is a fuel tank, and all the rest are all ranges Air to air/air to ground missiles.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HOW TO USE:

Press the arrow button on left side below the cockpit to open the canopy.

Once in the seat, press the main power switch on the panel to your left. Then press engine on. On that panel also exists the canopy close and wheel brake buttons (wheel brakes are off on spawn)

On the left side also exists the throttle. Throttle full, pull up and you are in the skies.

W/S for pitch.
A/D for roll.
Left/Right arrow for yaw.
Up/Down arrow for hands off throttle control.

The jet does not like to fly perfectly level and straight for long periods of time. For that, use the cruise control located on the right side panel. Upon toggle, it will hold altitude and stabilize roll. You can still turn left or right with the yaw. To change altitude, turn off the cruise control, press W or S to change altitude and then re enable cruise control.

Things to look out for:

This is literally my very first plane. Im a quick learner, and this took a few weeks to learn the mechanics of making planes (although i did make a helicopter so jet engines werent that hard.)
Its gonna have some quirks to it that other W GG pro workshop builds wont have, but i like it and am quite proud of myself.

Firing missiles shifts center of mass, and will make it roll on its own if you try to fly without the cruise control.
It may slightly roll to the right or left when in level flight and not using cruise control. Idk why it does this. Use cruise control for far distance level flight.
