For unknown reasons, games made with the RPG Maker engine on Steam may have issues with recognition and screenshotting. This guide will teach you how to take screenshots.

Tips: Some old games' root directories (right-click game // properties // installed files // browse //) may contain a file named steam_api.dll. Renaming this file to steam_api-doggo.dll might enable Steam's built-in screenshot function, but it could also prevent the game from opening. I don't recommend trying this; this guide provides a universal method.

Lazy people: First, take a screenshot in another game that can screenshot (for convenience).

First; click on the Steam interface box // view // screenshot // show screenshots in local disk //

At this point, open this resource manager. The file address is like H:\Steam\userdata\1XXXXXXXXX\760\remote

Create a new filename //1933660// in the remote folder

Tips; 1933660 is this game's Steam app id, which can be found by right-clicking properties on Steam

Lazy people: You can directly copy the screenshot folder from another game, then delete the picture, and continue as follows

Create a folder //screenshots// in \remote\1933660

Store the same picture inside and outside the //screenshots// folder. The picture must be the same and in /jpg/ format, otherwise it won't be recognized
If you don't understand the above step, you can look at the screenshot folder examples of other Steam games, or take your own screenshot. I'm lazy.

Finally, restart Steam, and you will find that the game now has a screenshot page.

由于众所不知的原因，rpg make引擎制作的游戏在steam中会出现无法识别且无法截图的问题，此指南教你怎么截图。

tips：部分老游戏根目录（右击游戏//属性//已安装文件//浏览//）里会存在steam_api.dll 的文件，把文件名修改为steam_api-doggo.dll
可能使steam自带截图有效，但也可能使游戏无法打开，本人不建议尝试，本指南是通用方法.


懒人：首先在其他能截图的游戏里面截一张图（方便）

首先；点击steam界面上框//查看//截图//显示本地磁盘中的截图//

此时点开此资源管理器 文件地址例如 H:\Steam\userdata\1XXXXXXXXX\760\remote

新建文件名//1933660// 在remote文件夹里

tips；1933660是此游戏是steam app id，可在steam右击属性里查找

懒人：可以直接复制别的游戏截图里面的文件夹了，然后删除图片，如下继续

\remote\1933660 里面创建文件夹//screenshots//

在文件夹//screenshots// 内外各存一张图 且图片是同一张，且为/jpg/格式，不然无法识别
上面这步不懂，可以看steam其他游戏截图文件夹示例，自己去截，我懒.

最后重启steam，此时你就会发现，游戏出现了截图页面了
