Apparently affects other Unreal-based games running on "newer" Intel (and Windows) platforms.

  1. Go to "Properties|General" for "Call of Cthulhu" (Steam).

  2. In "Launch Options", enter (copy/paste):
    OPENSSL_ia32cap=~0x20000000 %command%
