This guide is a work in progress. The data herein has been gathered by hand. There is a good chance different faction units work slightly differently, which could explain why Hoplites are more expensive, However, I've been unable to find if such a thing is true. Beware of this information when choosing a faction.

Rome
The romans are the default faction in Shieldwall. Their bonuses are a "jack of all trades, master of none" kind of deal.
