click the epic green play button once you click on the garry`s mod logo on Steam

How to get into the game (single player)

on the main menu, click start new game, choose the map you want and click start game.

Get into the game (multiplayer)

Click on find servers and go to the game mode you want to and then go to the server you want to go and then have fun!

Note: on a lot of game modes, it uses CS Source assets, If you have not installed CS Source yet, you might get a lot of error signs and pink and black texture missing thingies, imma show you how to fix that in the next section.

Fix missing textures

In this case if you landed into a server and found a lot of missing textures and error signs, its pretty unepic, imma show you how to fix that!

For most servers having CS source textures is enough

How to get CS Source assets: Buy the game on Steam.

How to get L4D & L4D2 assets: Buy the games on Steam.

How to get Portal & Portal 2 assets: Buy those games too on Steam.

How to get other game's assets: Buy the games or install them from Steam if they're free.

How to exit the game (multiple ways)

1. you can very easily quit GMod by clicking the quit button and confirming it.

2. press your home key hover to Gmod and then click the X

3. press your home key go to Steam and click stop and confirm.
