ST: New Horizons TNG era start
3.11.3 Compatible

  • TNG mode is activated via the 4 Pre-TNG Era Maps only
  • It is recommended to run with the submod, as this changes the date and removes certain empires
  • If you run without the submod and want to play UFP, select them from the Empire screen NOT United Earth/Vulcan/Andor or Tellar
  • Date only changes with the submod
  • There is a known 2-5min wait on loading the map, this is where the techs are added and the map is sorted. We have reduced this as far as possible for now... moaners will be fed to the Gorn.

Instruction:
---> new game ----> select your empire
---> pick one of the 2 new PRE TNG milky way maps (1400 and 3000 stars)

Can you run this with 3.11? The main mod says 3.11 compatible whereas this is 3.10.4 compatible, so I'm not sure if I should be on 3.11 or 3.10 branch with my game.

@mosser1989 Did you select both 2300 UFP AND a map that says pre-TNG in its name?

Getting same issues as darkangel. First time trying so not sure whats normal, but getting 2 sol systems. 1 where it should be, and another way down south on the edge of the map.

I had assumed this submod and feature would also fill the map to tng borders as well. I guess I was mistaken on that.

You want to play the TNG scenario? then:

STNH main mod
pre TNG submod
1 UI mod (optional)
music mod (optional)

---> new game ----> select your empire
---> pick one of the 2 new PRE TNG milky way maps (1400 and 3000 stars)

Such a GREAT mod !!!
Just a smaller map option (e.g. 600-700 Systems, like the small alpha/beta map) would be good, due to my poor lategame performance...
