The amber fade skins have a variable pattern visible below, that rotate and translate. Notice that the skin is symmetrical on the play and back side.

Said variation implies that more or less of the pattern is visible on the gun, and the community usually express that in a percentage, ranking from 80% to 100%.

That guide will list the top 10 low and high percentages, list of patterns by fade percentage and list of patterns by pattern number, so you can easily check yours.

The fade percentage is not a data in game, rather something that people reads on the skin, with more or less accuracy.

Two method cohabits :
- one per image analysis where you literally count pixels
- one with a calculating script

I will use the second method here.

please notice they have the seed 0 in double with the seed 1, and that the ranking goes from 1 to 500 twice : one time for the highest fade, and one time for the lowest fade.
I will not be using that ranking and rather ranking from 1 to 1000 as it's easier to understand and read that way, but if you check the JSON yourself, be worry of that detail.

The fade percentages are EXACTLY the same for all amber fade weapons, so the lists will be the same.
Weapons available in amber fade are

• AUG
  
• Galil AR
  
• Mac-10
  
• P2000
  
• R8 Revolver
  
• Sawed off

All are both available in souvenir and normal finish (which change nothing outside souvenir not being usable to craft other skins and coming with souvenir stickers naturally), except the AUG that has only the normal finish.
None are available in Stattrack.

However, please do notice that the effect of full fade and lowest fade are significantly less visible on pistols and the mac10. It is personal taste however.


Please notice that in CS GO, scratches were extremely visible on those, it's not longer the case in CS2 however

Use those extensions at your own risk, shady stuff did happen in the past and are happening, for example the popular floatDB one is legit but is ignoring your inventory restriction and is listing it on its database.

In the past some have been used to set up API scams or steal steam info too.
