Crack on deez, Christmas Special Edition
Nutcracker is the latest addition to the monster family in patch 45. And it looks just like any other normal-looking, store-bought nutcrackers! SIKE it's a creepy looking toy soldier with a sawed-off shotgun. How quirky!
You know when a Nutcracker is approaching by listening to its clanking footsteps and squeaky shoes. Once it spots you, it will stop hopping around and go into auto-turret mode. The top of its head springs open and its body starts slowly spinning in a clockwise direction. When this happens, run and seek immediate solid cover, walls, doors, etc. Don't get too close to the Nutcracker though, or the only thing you'll be eating this Christmas is lead.
Tip: By kiting the nutcracker, you should be able to kill it in a dozen hits. However, you may also have noticed the option E to steal its shotgun while running away. This new year, why not set a goal for yourself to steal the nutcracker's shotgun and live to tell the tale? Your grand kids will love it.

Dream - Mask sus remix
The Masks were also introduced in patch 45 as an evil scrap/impostor. According to the wiki, the Mask(s) spawns in two ways, one by an employee putting on the mask and become one of them, or two, it just spawns in as an impostor employee with a mask on.
If an employee finds a mask, it's best to leave this evil piece of scrap alone, as simply grabbing it or putting it on will eventually kill you and your possessed body will go on to haunt your other fellow employees. You can still watch the possessed player on camera and monitor its movements. You can also spot the mask even if it spawned in as an impostor, as the Masks' movements are usually VERY robotic.
Tip: If you see a masked, keep your distance. If you have a weapon, you can easily take it down with a few hits as its health pool is very small. However, if it's at the beginning of a run, you can try to lure the Mask(s) into hostile monsters, beehives, blind dogs, spiders, etc.

Baboon Hawks are winged creatures that appear outside, usually in groups. If you spot them from a distance away, it seems they're minding their own business and won't seek you out. They can be curious, but as long as you keep your distance, they typically won't attack first unless they have a numbers advantage on you. However, get too close, or try to attack, and they will respond with lethal force.
Tip: Hit it with a stick, or not.

Bracken is a red buff tall dude with white glowing eyes and dark tentacles growing on its back. It lives in a creepy old building by itself. After years of isolation, it's developed a quirky little hobby called KIDNAPPING. So watch your back, when you suspect a Bracken is near. However, it's very shy, and when you look directly into its soulless white eyes, it will run away like when I see my crush in public.

*cough* Anyways, just don't stare at it too much, it really will kill you. If you look at it and it already ran away, it will come back in about 1 minute to try to snatch you again. Always remain vigilant, fellow employees.
Tip: Friends are our best allies. Instead of watching your own back, why not ask your friend to watch your back?

Spidey Long Legs
Bunker Spiders are large arachnids that can be found indoors. They weave webs in their nearby vicinity, so be careful not to step in one - it will trap you, and alert the spider to your presence, invariably leading to your swift demise. Bunker Spiders are hard to kill, so best avoided by sneaking past their webs and staying out of their territory.
Bunker Spiders have been observed to open doors in pursuit of their prey.
Tip: Do your best to jump over or avoid any webs you see, as touching them will attract the Bunker Spider. You can destroy the spider webs with a shovel/sign.

Circuit Bees can be found outdoors at any time of day. They will be gathered around a red ball, which is their hive - get too close, and they will fly out and attack you. If they become separated from their hive, they will become an enraged swarm, roaming across the map attacking anything in sight.
Tip: Circuit Bee hives are worth a chunk of cash. So why not sacrifice ask another fellow employee to grab it before the ship leaves. A great guide on how to properly retrieve a beehive: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3074219142

Mannequin Gone Bad
The Coil-Head is a mannequin-like creature with short arms, a damaged torso, and a screaming head on a spring.
The Coil-Head will move toward you rapidly and kill you instantly, unless someone is looking at it. Don't try to fight it; gradually back away while maintaining visual contact. If possible, coordinate with allies to ensure it doesn't get any closer as you make your escape.

The giant worm lives in the soil beneath us. It sometimes spawns in the late afternoon and begins to roam underground.
If you're walking outside and hear a rumble, the Earth Leviathan may be underneath you. Dust and dirt particles appear where the Earth Leviathan is about to emerge.
Tip: If you have full stamina, just keep running. However, with low stamina, change into the opposite direction of where you were headed, and run.

Doggo Eilis
Watch out for big, vicious, visually impaired dogs after dark. For all of you dog lovers out there, don't be fooled by their large fangs and dogly charms, it will kill you in one bite. After it turns dark, The Eyeless Dog(s) will start patrolling, sometimes far, but as the night draws near, their location always seems to be in the immediate vicinity of your ship.
However, they are "Eilis" and ain't got no ears, so as long as you crouch and don't hotmic, you can still get back to the ship, slowly.

Tip: If there is a player looking at cams for the team, check doors regularly and don't make any noise, use Discord your walkie-talkie and yell as loud as you can if necessary.

Groot, The Bite of '87
The Forest Keeper usually spawns in the afternoon, just before sunset, and then they will start patrolling nearby area. They have very loud thumping footsteps so it should be pretty easy to know when one spawns in.
If you encounter one, crouch and stay still in the hope they are also visually impaired. If they catch you, you dead.
They can't get you once you're safely inside the ship, however.

Cute Anime Girl Lookin For Senpai
The Ghost Girl can be found on distant moons that are more expensive to get to. She only haunts one player at a time, meaning if you see her, you've been chosen as her victim. Nobody else can see her, not even if you're spectating the haunted player.

The girl may appear standing still for a short time, but if she starts skipping toward you, you'll need to run away as fast as possible. If she catches you, she will remove your head, killing you instantly.
The Ghost Girl appears to be immune to damage and so cannot be killed.
Tip: Coordinate with your teammate to carry out a bold escape plan, or start the ship and leave this godforsaken planet, alone.

Thieving Mosquito
The Hoarding Bug is a common monster that you can find on pretty much every map. So like any other sane bugs who in a radioactive, cold industrial building, it's picked up a little hobbit called STEALING.
While you and your friends are sweating your bums off collecting loot, risking your lives, this little f*cker flies in, steals a piece and hides it in its trashy cave. You'll then find the bug guarding its stolden objects like Smaug in that Hobbit movie - at this point, if you try to take back the loot, it will become aggro and start flying towards you. One hit from it won't kill you, unless you're already injured.
If you have a shovel or a road sign, 2-3 swings to this bug's body will end its miserable life.
Tip: Coordinating with friends increases chances of survival

The Slimey Boi
The Hygrodere or the "Green Slime" is a huge gelatin blob that can be found very early in game. Usually it's spotted around stairs, corridors and long hallways in a building. Once it sees you, it'll start moving slowly towards you, once it gets close, JUMP hit that SPACEBAR + W as hard as you can, and you good. Don't hit it though. Otherwise you dead.
Tip: Rumors say playing music from your boombox or hotmic near the slime boi may distract or even calm it down.

Jackbox Party Pack: Death Edition
The Jester is only found on high-level moons. It appears to be a jack-in-the-box with legs and an arm sticking out of it. It may run around in your vicinity and appear passive initially, but eventually it will run up to you and start winding up its mechanism.

The Jester will spend some time winding up (about 30 seconds, in our experience). During this time, all players should leave the building as quickly as possible.

Once the Jester finishes winding up, a giant skull will pop out and advance toward you, killing you instantly. It will then pursue the nearest player inside the building, becoming faster and faster, and will not stop until everyone has left or is dead.

Ceiling Bug Ewww
You might know me as the Snare Flea, the ewwww bug, or whatever you wanna call it. Unlike many other beefy monsters living in the building, I come with a plan, a nasty plan. After all, nobody would even bother to check their ceiling nowadays, everyone is always busy going somewhere, whether it'd be carrying empty beer bottles, blowing horns at other employees or t-bagging each other.
But, when they walk down that dimly lit hallway, I knew it was my chance. It was my chance to finally-
Hey what are you doing with that sign *BONK* gah, AHHH, eouf.............
This tip is not written by a bug: Use your flashlight frequently to check the ceilings, work in groups, remember where the nearest exit is, even if u may be blind at the moment

The Jaw on Land
The Thumper is a creature with a shark-like head that drags itself across the corridors using two long arm-like limbs. The Thumper can't hear, so won't be attracted to any sound you make. However, it's fast, and will charge in a straight line when it notices you, killing you in 3 bites if it reaches you.
Thumpers charge in a straight line, but can't change direction easily. You can try to evade them by stepping around corners when they're charging.
Tip: As of patch 45, the railing cheese no longer works. An excellent post made by steam user -exce- suggests the purchase of stun grenades. However, if it's at the beginning of the game, the only thing you can do is to make good use of corners and avoid running in a straight line when confronting a Thumper.
