I stole his mod and changed the w_model so that the scabbard will stay on the back even in third person.

I used Lt. Rocky's KF2 katana w_model as a template, so credit goes to him.

You can merge the vpk manually yourself, or if you are fat, you can just subscribe to this first then his mod.

you should put the scabbard in the hip like a japanese soldier would be cool! but this is awesome aswell

Use either crowbar or GCFscape to open vpk, extract contents, merge the folders together to your liking, then pack the folder back into vpk using the vpk.exe which comes with L4D2 Authoring Tools. If you don't feel like doing that, you'll just have to be fat.
