How do I get to the secret boss?
1. Beat the first 3 levels of the game to unlock HARD MODE
2. Beat hard mode and proceed further
How do I beat the boss?

^ like this pretty much

1. Get a wand with "ON HIT" extra slots
2. Find water stream spell (other fast firing cheap spells might also work)
3. Find a sword spell (unlocks after beating the game)
4. Multishot, mana discount and other things that let you fire faster
5. Spell duration + rotation for the blade makes them clear the entire screen while dealing damage multiple times per blade
6. 2-starring the blade (9 1 level blades) lets you redirect enemy projectiles back while dealing insane damage

TL DR
doubled cheap water stream -> [ON HIT SLOTS] rotating extra time big blade

Other things to consider
1. Utility wands that store/share mana
2. Backup wands for previous bosses (can't redirect some projectiles), electric field is a really strong alternative for blades
3. Remote wand control
4. Please don't give this guide a clown award

And the most important thing: an hour extra time!
It's just ridiculous ... hold the left mouse button for an hour to kill the five Author bosses. (Nightmare mode)

Make this achievement in the demo of the game!

Wand Of Innocence
+ Tracking
+ Mana Drain
+ Spellbreaker
+ Rock'n'Ball

If u want to increase the speed:
+Rebound
+Multishot

This way ur time should been fast af...
But getting both the 'Wand Of Innocence' and 'Mana Drain' will be the challange...
But if u get it u will be fast done with that fight.
From 2k dps up to 10k is here given.

I used:
Cast on Cast wand (Lightweight Rod, available in stage 1)
Self Aware Grimoire
Mana Drain
and the Double Summon Creature limit relic.

The Self Aware Grimoire casts Mana Drain, which recharges the Self Aware Grimoire, which makes it fire more Mana Drains, creating a positive feedback loop.
On the Cast on Cast slot, I slapped on SpellBreaker, which cuts the bullets, and thanks to the 6 Self Aware Grimoire, it goes crazy and makes you spin to win on your mouse spot, while keeping you invulnerable to any projectiles from this boss.

This build can also be used with any Cast on Hit wand and in theory, with Accuracy, any Cast on Crit wands.

I recommend instead of a cast on hit wand, use the Book of Silence, which is usually obtainable in stage 2.
My reasons for this are that it charges while standing still, and most importantly, it negates all spell recoil, so you do not move forward with each cast like the spellbreaker normally causes.
This also means that, if you don't mind spending the time, you don't even have to cast anything. Just stand there and he dies. eventually.

I used one star sword spell and two one star duration killed the boss, but it took almost 10 minutes of crazy click my mouse. The still blade shielded the attacking balls from the boss while dealing some damage to the boss. But i did get the idea of using the duration from you. Thank you, bro.
