This is only 54/56 of ingredients in the game, as that's all i have found in my own play through so far. The guide will be updated as i find more, and as more is added to the game.

Here is a guide of (nearly) all 50+ dyes you can make in Alchemist: The Potion Monger.

Before You Begin
Where Can You Paint?

[b][i]Some areas can be colored with paints the Alchemist makes with the Dye Manufacture. Here, all of the surfaces colored green (mint specifically) can be painted.[/i][/b] [hr][/hr] [h2][b]Reminder![/b][/h2] [i][b]While ingredients may have their own colors, everything that can be put into the Dye Manufacture can be combined with other ingredients to create new and unique colors. These colors are not shown here because i do not have the time, patience, nor attention span for such a feat. Have fun discovering all the colors your house can become.[/b][/i] [hr][/h

Reminder!

While ingredients may have their own colors, everything that can be put into the Dye Manufacture can be combined with other ingredients to create new and unique colors. These colors are not shown here because i do not have the time, patience, nor attention span for such a feat. Have fun discovering all the colors your house can become.


Calendula

Gathering Info: Found virtually all around the map. Most prominent around the Alchemist's home. Can be grown in the garden.
Fly

Gathering Info: Found virtually all around the map. Most notably near outhouses and cows.
Milk

Gathering Info: Can be bought. Obtained by milking a cow.
Meat

Gathering Info: Can be bought.
Mint

Gathering Info: Found around the Farmlands. Can be grown in the garden.
Rotten Meat

Gathering Info: Can be made in the composer. Can be obtained from green slime.
Animal Excrement

Gathering Info: Can be found in outhouses. Spawned from cows.
Lily of the Valley


Gathering Info: Can be found in groups around the Town. Can be bought from the Herbalist. Can be grown in the garden.
Stone

Gathering Info: Can be found scattered around the map.
Spoiled Milk

Gathering Info: Can be bought from the Tavern Keeper.
Sunflower

Death Cap

Gathering Info: Can be found behind the Goat Hag's home. Toxic Botanist recommended.
Warmshroom

Gathering Info: Can be found around the Herblands portal.
Egg

Gathering Info: Can be bought.
Rotten Egg

Gathering Info: Can be made using the composer.
Lotus

Gathering Info: Can be found on lily pads in the Herblands, and in the Town's pond. Can be bought from the Herbalist.


Black Lotus

Gathering Info: Can be found on lily pads in the Swamplands, near the Goat Hag's home. Can be bought from the Goat Hag. Toxic Botanist recommended.
Fish

Gathering Info: Can be bought.
Rotten Fish

Gathering Info: Can be made using the composer.
Rose

Gathering Info: Can be found in bushes in the Town and the Herblands. Can be grown in the garden.
Papaj Shroom

Gathering Info: Can be found in the Winterlands. Toxic Botanist recommended.
Many Eyes

Gathering Info: Can be found surrounding the Devils Fruit in the Swamplands. Can be grown in the garden.
Sulfur

Gathering Info: Can be found in the cave entrance to the Winterlands. Can be bought from the Blacksmith.
Coal

Gathering Info: Can be bought from the Blacksmith.
Honey

Gathering Info: Can be harvested from bee boxes in the Farmlands.
Cocoon

Gathering Info: Can be found in the Goat Hag's home, behind the cobwebs.
Moon Shard

Gathering Info: Can be found near the roots of large, pink trees.


Brain

Gathering Info: Can be found in the Herbalist's garden.
Bone

Gathering Info: Can be found in the Herbalist's garden.
Everlasting Ice.

Gathering Info: Can be found scattered around the Winterlands. Can be obtained from blue slimes.
Crystal Rose

Gathering Info: Can be found in the Winterlands. Can be obtained from blue slimes. Can be grown in the garden.
Mandrake.

Gathering Info: Can be bought. Can be found on the island across from the beach.
Fern Flower

Gathering Info: Can only be found in the Swamplands at night, across from the portal.
Red Eye

Gathering Info: Can only be obtained during/after Red Nights.
Fool's Light

Gathering Info: Can be found floating around the weeping willow tree near the Herbalist's home. Can be found floating around few stumps in the Swamplands.
Red Bog Lantern

Gathering Info: Can be found scattered around the Swamplands.
Yellow Bog Lantern

Gathering Info: Can be found scattered around the Swamplands.
Coconut

Gathering Info: Can be bought. Can be found under palm trees along the beach.
Devil's Fruit

Gathering Info: Can only be found atop a small hill in the Swamplands, surrounded by Many Eyes.
Diamond

Gathering Info: Can be bought from the Blacksmith. Can be found in the boat sitting atop a tall rock near the beach. Can be obtained from red slimes.
Red Slime

Gathering Info: Can always be obtained from red slimes.
Blue Slime

Gathering Info: Can always be obtained from blue slimes.
Rat Tail

Gathering Info: Can be bought from the Goat Hag.

Gathering Info: Can be bought from the Hunter.

The only ingredient that seem to be missing is Wool.
You gather wool from sheep in similar manner as you milk cows.
The color is mostly white - a little yellow similar to milk
