THIS MOD IS NO LONGER NEEDED IN BUILD 42. THANK YOU TIS.

Very simple mod that allows you to multiply the reading speed, even in single player. Compatible with modded books, and other mods that modify ISReadABook.

Install the mod. By default it will make reading twice as fast. There is a sandbox setting to set that multiplier to whatever you want.

To tweak the reading speed of existing saves, I would recommend another mod called "Change Sandbox Options" (requires quitting and reloading the world to take effect).

That does not work in solo games, only multiplayer. This is a pretty simple oversight by TIS, and hopefully in build 42 this mod will be obsolete.
