The Sheriff (+Tainted)

The Sheriff is a new gunslinger character with a revolver and no time for tears.



Discover 30+ unique synergies, some of which granting unique guns and abilities!


The Sheriff has 6 maximum ammo in their gun, but that maximum can change depending on certain synergies and circumstances. They reload automatically while not shooting. If the Sheriff holds down fire while at 0 ammo, they'll reload their next bullet slower.

Additionally, bullets have damage falloff. After a bullet has been flying for a long amount of time that depends on the Sheriff's range stat, its damage will be halved when it hits an enemy. This is signaled by a poof of dust, and a change in the bullet's trail color to being darker.


Quick Draw is Sheriff's pocket active. It allows them to shoot all of their bullets rapidly with an additional damage multiplier, but with a large spread. Shooting with Quick Draw will always be faster than shooting normally. Use this up close to an enemy and quickly deal out big damage!



Now introducing Tainted Sheriff!

Holster, whip, reload

Tainted Sheriff starts with 2 maximum ammo and cannot reload normally, instead having to harvest more ammo from enemies. They can use their pocket active, Holster, to swap between their new sawed-off shotgun and their whip.

The whip can be used to knock back enemies and temporarily mark them. Marked enemies will drop ammo after being damaged in any way.
