Description

Man, this game was SUPER HARD. Supercharged Robot VULKAISER is a horizonal shmup inspired by 70s robot anime. I'm not really a shmup player so it took a lot to get to the point where I could pass this hardest difficulty, as there isn't really any easy level or easy boss. I found level 2, 4, and 6 to be extremely difficult to learn, especially 6 since it was hard to even unlock it to practice since you had to get that far in a real run first. Luckily, stage 5 felt reasonably fair with decent strategies, though I definitely underperformed and took a few hits that I didn't typically. Easy and Normal difficulty I did on my first attempts, but hard took a couple hours of practice and I thought it was a huge jump. Super Hard difficulty takes that jump and makes it even larger, taking me quite some time to get a run. I still curse the stage 2 fish phase boss for many runs ruined....

Lots of thanks to Folkius for their video and advice on how to tackle certain problem sections. I would've struggled even more than I already did if I had to figure out the best route of combinations to go through, since I really liked the lightning and had a hard time learning to use the drill effectively.
