Intro
Achievements are primarily grouped by type, though some are placed together if earning one would lead to another achievement. To find a specific achievement, simply Ctrl+F and type in the achievement name.

If you can't find an item or a key, check in here:
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3082645303

EDIT: If it looks like an image is missing, it's because Steam is having a stroke and deleting random images from guides. Sorry. Support gave the basic "lol, lmao" response.
Basic Progression
The vast majority of these achievements can be earned simply over time by playing the game. By completing other achievements you will also progress through these.

Chapter Completion
Haven 8
Complete Chapter 1.
Unlocked after reaching Fields.

Taking it Back!
Complete Chapter 2.
Unlocked after reaching Haven City.

Moonwalker
Complete Chapter 3.
Unlocked after reaching The Moon.

Damage
If you are going for S rank and full exp every run, then you will earn all of these after around 5 to 7 hours. Critical hits will give you the most damage-per-shot, so aim carefully to make these a breeze.
Damage Dealer (Bronze)
Deal 10,000 damage.

Damage Dealer (Silver)
Deal 500,000 damage.

Damage Dealer (Gold)
Deal 1,000,000 damage.

Takedowns
If you are going for S rank and full exp every run, then you will earn all of these after around 10 to 15 hours. Discovery difficulty can make grinding this easier, but you will most likely earn all 3 takedown achievements while trying to earn other achievements.
Robo-Regulator (Bronze)
Take down 500 enemies.

Robo-Regulator (Silver)
Take down 5,000 enemies.

Robo-Regulator (Gold)
Take down 10,000 enemies.

Powercells
Powercells can be obtained from various methods:
  • Drops from enemies. Bigger enemies have a higher chance of dropping cells, while the smallest don't drop cells at all. Goliath enemies have the highest chance of dropping cells.
  • Level completion ranks. An S rank will award an extra 3 cells per level.
  • Max's chests.
  • Roll the dice, spin that wheel on a Wonka Bar for 20 cells.
  • The Buisness Briefcase gadget awards a cell on level-up.
  • The Teal power crystal Scavenger upgrade will cause elites to drop cells more frequently.
Powercell Gatherer (Bronze)
Gather 50 Powercells.

Powercell Gatherer (Silver)
Gather 1,000 Powercells.

Powercell Gatherer (Gold)
Gather 2,000 Powercells.
This will take a while. After completing Guardian 1 difficulty I was at around 650 powercells, so anyone going for the Guardian 4 achievements will unlock it over time.

Golden Wrenches
Golden wrenches can be obtained from various methods:
  • Drops from enemies. This doesn't appear to be weighted, but based on the current level.
  • Difficulty rewards. Hard rewards 1 wrench per level, Guardian 1 & 2 award 2, and Guardian 3 & 4 award 3.
  • 3 wrenches are awarded for each data-log found.
  • Occasionally Bazaar Bob will trade power cells for wrenches.
Wrench Picker (Bronze)
Gather 50 Wrenches.

Wrench Picker (Silver)
Gather 250 Wrenches.

Wrench Picker (Gold)
Gather 500 Wrenches.
An average run will earn you around 20 to 50 wrenches. Play on higher difficulties for more wrenches. You will certainly earn this before you find 2,000 powercells.

Home Sweet Home
Craft all Basecamp upgrades.
This is where you spend golden wrenches. You will come close to completing this while gathering the 500 for the gold tier achievement. Purchase all upgrades and collect all power crystals to unlock the achievement.
Buddybot
I'd recommend tackling the first two achievements here as fast as possible, as they open up a lot of quests and good weapons very early on.

My Little Buddy
Find and pick up Buddybot.

While in the Canyons, you may came across a Small Bot with a red & blue paint job and a green eye. It will not fire at you. Walk up to it and interact with it to pick up Buddybot as a weapon. Once earned, Buddybot will be available in the starting area in the Canyons at the start of every run.

Pimp my Buddy
Upgrade Buddybot to a Fantastic weapon.

Behind a waterfall in the Oasis starting area is a door with a purple lock. Interact with the door while holding Buddybot to unlock and open the door. Inside will be a Pyro Bot that will upgrade your starting weapons to fantastic quality. Give him Buddybot and it will be upgraded to fantastic quality.

Legen... wait for it... dary!
Equip a Fantastic weapon.
Upgrading Buddybot or the Fox Gun to fantastic quality just as the step above describes will award this achievement.

Best Buddy Forever
Finish the game with Buddybot equipped.
This can be rather tricky, as the final boss's many AoE attacks can quickly kill Buddybot and reduce its effectiveness as a weapon. Make sure your other weapon is up to the task of being your main weapon for dealing with the boss. As always, Discovery difficulty is the easiest option.
Class Specific (Guardian, Commando, Ranger)
Each playable class has three related achievements. For game completions, I will simply leave it at "play it on Discovery" difficulty. If you want a "Complete X class on Guardian IV" walkthough, it's better to find a guide that covers playstyles and builds for each class. This guide is already long enough.

Guardian
The Last Bastion
Finish the game as the Guardian.
Easily done on Discovery difficulty. If you have trouble, Safe Space is a great skill to keep you alive during long fights with no healing-cells.

Ammo Belt
Reach +75% bonus Ammo in a run as the Guardian.
Every class has a "buff-stacking" achievement related to stacking skills and items to hit a specific threshold. These achievements have multiple ways to reach said threshold and are often neat little challenges.

The one for the Guardian is dumb and niche.

This achievement requires you to select either the Size Matters skill twice for +50% mag size, or the Bag corrupted item for +50%. These are the only two ways to earn this achievement. The "Big Mag" weapon modifier does not count towards this achievement, which is the only other way in the entire game to increase magazine size. This looks like an oversight, maybe it'll be patched some day.

Whack-A-Mole
Take down Diggy Mole using the Bonk Hammer.
You are at the mercy of RNG for this achievement (seems to be the theme with Guardian achievements). First, you must unlock the Bonk Hammer skill for said bonk hammer. You must then hope that the first boss is Diggy Mole. Expect to restart several times to get the correct boss and skill combination.

As for the fight, simply lower Mole's health with your weapons before going in for the final blow with your Hammer.

Commando
Commando
Unlock the Commando.
The Commando is unlocked after defeating 750 enemies. You will earn this naturally by playing the game.

Booyakasha
Finish the game as the Commando.
Say it with me; Discovery difficulty.

Special Delivery
Take down at least 3 different enemies with a single Rocket.
Normally I would give a list of "everything that can boost rocket radius and damage". However, this achievement can be done as soon as you start a run.

Walk outside of the starting area and find an area with 3 Small Bots. Lower their health to one-shot range with the Fox Gun, and wait for them to cluster together. Aim at cluster, press button, get achievement.
This can be done on any difficulty. For an easier time, players with the Starter Boost can get a rocket damage upgrade or explosion radius upgrade right at the start.

Ranger
Ranger
Unlock the Ranger.
The Ranger is unlocked by interacting with the javelin hidden in the Oasis. While in the Oasis you will see a area highlighted in yellow on your minimap. You can either enter the opening behind the waterfall in this area, or jump over the cliff with a rocket jump weapon. Inside will be the Javelin.

The Long Hunt
Finish the game as the Ranger.
You should Discover a new difficulty to play on.

Bot Skewer
Deal more than 1,000 damage with a single Javelin.
The goal here is to stack as many skills and items as possible onto the Javelin before skewering a bot right in its face...hole. You will automatically earn +25% Javelin damage each time you level up. Marked enemies will also take an additional +50% damage.

Class Specific (Recon, Engineer)
Recon
Recon
Unlock the Recon.
The Recon is unlocked after defeating any chapter 2 boss. Once again, Discovery difficulty is your best option.

Fast and Furious
Finish the game as the Recon.
I'm going to say Discovery again. But where's the fun in that.

Sushi Master
Take down at least 3 different enemies in a single Dagger hit.

Much like the Commando's rocket multi-kill achievement, this can be easily done in the Canyons with the numerous amount of easy enemies running around. Pawns will need to have their health lowered to at least 50% to be killed by the standard Dagger. Make sure to build up to an Overslash for your final attack for the extra 200% damage.

You will also be able to grab the Cutlass ability by level 2. This will increase your melee damage by a further 35%, but decrease Overslash by 50%.

Engineer
Engineer
Unlock the Engineer.
The Engineer is unlocked after the basecamp reaches level 4. To do this you must spend golden wrenches at the workshop to unlock new basecamp levels.

Golden wrenches can occasionally drop from defeated enemies. Players will also receive bonus wrenches at the end of each stage if they play on Hard difficulty or above. Lastly, picking up Data-Logs will award the player with 3 golden wrenches, which can greatly speed up the process.

Science Above All!
Finish the game as the Engineer.
Defeat the final boss while playing as Engineer. Easiest done on Discovery difficulty.

For the Swarm!
Have at least 5 friends deployed at once as the Engineer.
There are a few ways to do this achievement.
The easiest method is the Buddybot method. Once you have Buddybot equipped, make your way to the Oasis and have Smithing Ted upgrade Buddybot to legendary quality. Start by deploying both of your drones, then place down Buddybots as fast as you can. Because the legendary Buddybot has two charges and a shorter cooldown, you can place down a third before the first one expires. This will net you the achievement.

Alternatively, the Family Swarm ability (pictured in the achievement icon) will give you a third drone. Simply place down two Buddybots for the achievement to unlock.

You can also find a Kangaroo Sentry, which has the ability to place down sentry turret buddies. Depending on the amount of charges, you can get up to three turrets down at once. The only hard part is coming across the correct weapon with the correct alt-fire ability.
Class Specific (Elementalist)
So much text it gets its own section.

Elementalist
Unlock the Elementalist.
At the mid safe area in Energy Center is a lab locked behind a key door. This key can be found after exiting the level "Doom Gardens" and entering the Aqua Gardens. Refer to the Power Crystal section for how to access this level.

Inside will be a glowing orb and a screen showing 2 digits of a a 6-digit code. To reveal the other numbers, you must damage the orb with fire, cryo, and shock damage. This can come from both weapons and abilities, such as the Engineer's elemental blaster upgrades. The Jigsaw box corrupted item can also re-roll your weapon modifiers until you get all elemental modifiers. Chef Paul can also spawn outside the room, who can reroll weapon modifiers for a cost.

You must then take this completed code back to the starting area of Energy Center and input it into the locked door. Grabbing the Prismatic Cell inside will unlock the Elementalist.

Elementary
Finish the game as the Elementalist.
Discovery is a fantastic album, and the difficulty that this is easiest on.

Final Flash
Deal more than 1,000 damage with a single Comet.
Much like the Ranger's Javelin achievement, you must stack enough damage modifiers onto Comet to deal over 1k damage. There are multiple ways to do this, depending on the skills you select. Also, you will gain +25% Comet and Skill damage each time you level up. You will absolutely be hitting over 2k damage per Comet by the end of the game.

The method is to make comet into a death beam that can crit targets on their weak points. The Turbo Ray sub-ability of the Critical Burst skill turns Comet into a beam that can crit targets on their weak points for an automatic +50% damage bonus. This makes Comet less reliant on auto-crits and can use crit bonuses more reliably.

EDIT: Looks like the damage has to be a single instance and not just multiple from a single shot. Another example of the achievement text being different from how it actually works. Maybe this will be fixed some day.

Gadgets
Scattered throughout the entire game are hidden collectables that various NPCs will reward you for. Some specific ones have an achievement tied to it, while the majority will award you with a gadget.

Inspector Gadget (Bronze)
Unlock 1 Gadget.

Inspector Gadget (Silver)
Unlock 5 Gadgets.

Inspector Gadget (Gold)
Unlock 11 Gadgets.
Read below for a list of all gadgets.

Explorer Slippers
Littered around the Canyons will be glowing marks in the sand. With the Shovel equipped you can dig up these spots to find collectables and items. The Explorer Slippers will be in one of these spots.

Pogo Stick
In the Quarry, directly above the door leading to the corrupted area (marked in purple on the minimap) is a baby Buddybot. While this is easier done with the Rocket Pants upgrade, there are areas around the Quarry where you can double jump to the top area. You can also rocket jump using an explosive weapon or the Commando's rocket ability.
Give him a hug ❤️️

Roller
In the Canyons' middle safe room will be a bot asking for data-logs. Give him 5 (all at once) and he will reward you with the Roller.

Hero Cape
In the mid-safe area of Aqua Station will be a Butler Bot frozen in a block of ice. Shooting the ice with a weapon that deals burning damage will thaw the ice block. Interact with the bot to recieve the Hero cape.

Business Briefcase
Spare Some Change?
Give Powercells to Wallstreet Slim.
At the starting area of The Ruins will be a Guard Bot in a business suit. You must give him a random amount of powercells, which can only be one once per run. Upon giving him the final cell, the quest will complete and you will be awarded with the Business Briefcase. Best to just restart runs as soon as you give him the cell to speed this up.

Battery Burger
Collect the swimming trunks from the room behind the waterfall in the Oasis starting area (behind the Buddybot lock). Take these trunks to the area marked in yellow on the minimap in the Oasis. There will be a small entrance behind a waterfall leading to a secret area. Give the trunks to the robot to receive the Battery Burger.

Cooking Gloves
In the mid-safe area of Fields will be a Archeologist Bot asking for a specific weapon. You must show him in order:
  • Blunderbuzz
  • Junk Rifle
  • Sheriff's Carbine
You are able to show him multiple weapons in a run, so if you find a Blunderbuzz and Junk Rifle or Junk Rifle and Sheriff's Carbine before reaching him, you are able to do both requirements at once and save you from another trip.

Sunglasses
This gadget requires you to "win" a run. Obviously doing a run on Discovery difficulty is the easiest method. However, I did a successful run in the demo by reaching the end of the Oasis. Upon installing and launching the full game, I was automatically awarded the sunglasses. Don't know if this can work retroactively, but hey it's faster than beating the whole game.

Jetpack
This one can take some time to complete and has dedicated steps.
  1. Collect the red crystal from The Pit. Collect the ticket in the safe room before the boss. Refer to the Power Crystal section on how to access The Pit.
  2. The merchant Heisenbot will sell the key to the Fusion Core for 9 powercells. He can randomly spawn if you have the red crystal, but can always be found in the mid safe area of Energy Center.
  3. Use the key on the locked door in the Aqua Station's mid safe area to unlock the path to the Fusion Core.
  4. Inside the Fusion Core mid safe area will be a platforming area. Navigate this area (or cheese it with triple jump/rocket jump/bastion) to acquire Randy's Nose.
  5. Use the ticket collected from The Pit to open the Cinema in Haven City. Give Randy his nose to earn the Jetpack gadget.

Metal Detector
After giving 5 data-logs to the bot in the Canyons safe room, he will ask for 35 more. Giving him said data-logs will award the player with the Metal Detector.

Grappling Hook
Possibly the hardest gadget to acquire, the player must first collect all 6 crystals. See the Crystal section on obtaining them. Once you have them all, find the area marked in yellow on your minimap in Haven City. If you have all the crystals, the door will unlock and the Grappling Hook can be found inside.
Power Crystals (The Rift, Scrapyard, Doom Gardens)
In Roboquest, there are 6 "challenge stages" that are found between the various levels. Each stage has a unique challenge designed to test your skills, and can take several tries to successfully complete. By completing one of these stages you will unlock a Power Crystal that has game-altering effects. Further down this section is a list of all the Corrupted levels.

Nest of Corruption
Discover a Corrupted level.
Simply enter a Corrupted level. The easiest to reach is The Rift, found half-way through the Oasis.

Crystal Claimer (Bronze)
Claim 1 Power Crystal.
Complete a Corrupted level.

Crystal Claimer (Silver)
Claim 3 Power Crystals.
Complete 3 Corrupted levels.

Crystal Claimer (Gold)
Claim 6 Power Crystals.
Earned by completing every Corrupted level.

Corrupted Levels
Levels will be listed in order of progression.

The Rift
The Rift can be found at the safe area half-way through the Oasis, behind a door with a timer above it. The timer is based off of the timer underneath the minimap on the player's HUD. The timer will pause when entering a safe area, giving players time to upgrade and restock. You must enter the Oasis safe area in under 3 minutes to unlock the door.

The Rift is a speed challenge, where the player must get to the end of the stage and defuse a bomb within the set time limit. Gold orbs are placed along the stage that give the player a huge speed boost for a short duration, Players are required use these gold orbs along with the grind rails placed along the stage in order to make it to the end before the timer runs out.

Some general tips:
  • Your bonus move speed maxes out at 70%. Through a combination of gold orbs and one or more of the boosts below, you can stay at this speed for almost the entire run.
  • Discovery difficulty gives you more time on the timer.
  • Equip the Roller gadget, which gives a 12% speed boost while riding on rails (and for 6 seconds afterwords).
    • This can be further boosted by the Skateboard item.
  • The Ranger class is recommended, who's Stealth ability gives an extra 15% speed boost while active. This can be combined with the Bestial Ferocity skill for another 12%, or the Dexterity skill for 6%, if the player is lucky enough with their level up selection.
    • Alternatively, players with the Starter Boost or Lottery Ticket workshop upgrade can restart runs until the skill is given.
  • Do not have equipped any heavy weapon that reduces movement speed.
  • The Jetpack gadget can help the player make it across gaps that a boosted double jump might not make it.
  • The yellow crystal's Rocket Pants upgrade is very useful, as the extra jump can get the player over ledges too high for only two jumps.
  • A weapon with the Rocket Jump alt-fire can provide an extra jump.
Just in Time
Defuse the bomb within the last second.
Defuse the bomb at the end of The Rift or Waste Station with under 1 second left. The bomb takes just under 3 seconds to defuse, so starting the interaction as the timer hits 03.7 to 03.5 will earn you the achievement. This is easier done on The Rift, as the timer is much shorter.

Faster Than Light
Reach the maximum Movement Speed bonus.
You should earn this achievement while doing this challenge. The speed orbs give a 55% speed boost. Using the Ranger's ability will give you another 15%, to reach the maximum 70%.

Scrapyard
The Scrapyard can be found in the Ruins, behind a pipe with 4 laser walls. This will be marked on the minimap with a yellow color. You are intended to find 4 red buttons hidden around The Ruins to disable each wall. However, you can walk through these laser walls and just take the damage. The guardian class can use the Bastion ability to block the damage, and the Recon class can use the Blink ability to teleport past the walls.

The Scrapyard is a low-visibility gauntlet, filled with many high-level enemies and elites. Players entering the gauntlet should have a decent amount of upgrades, as well as the best weapons they can bring. The stage is quite long and has no respite until the safe room before the boss arena, so survivability is key. At the end, players will have to fight a gang of elites, of all possible types. These elites also deal 50% more damage than normal, making them surprisingly deadly. Debilitating elites such as hacking and cryo should be prioritized to eliminate the risk from mobility hampering debuffs.

Doom Gardens
The Doom Gardens can be found in the mid safe area of Fields behind two locked doors. The key to the first door is found outside the door to the Scrapyard (above). The next door requires the player to offer up 25 powercells. If the player S-ranked every level on the way to Fields, then they will already have 6-9 cells. By eliminating as many enemies as possible on the way to Fields, the player should easily be able to find enough cells.

Doom Gardens is a hybrid speed-elimination challange. Every enemy in the level will be of the "Boom" variety, and will make an explosive beeline towards the player as soon as they are in sight. To complete the challenge, the player must enter the corrupted door at the end of the level before the timer runs out. To extend the timer, each defeated enemy will drop 1 to 3 "time orbs", which each add a second back onto the timer. Time orbs do not expire, so defeating enemies farther away before the player approaches is a valid strategy. Weapons with ricochet or can kill in a single shot are a must for quick eliminations.
Power Crystals (The Pit, Fusion Core, Waste Station)
The Pit
The Shovel is found directly next to The Pit, so the steps to find both are the same.

Shovel Knight
Find and pick up The Shovel.
The Shovel can be found in the secret area of the Quarry, and happens to be directly in front of the door to The Pit. To enter this area requires three steps:

  1. Obtain the "Tech Room" key, found in the secret area of the Ruins. Refer to the "Scrapyard" in the Power Crystal section for accessing this area.
  2. Using this key, unlock the door in the mid safe room of Fields. The Quarry key will be inside.
  3. Before you enter the Quarry, write down the 3-digit code outside the quarry door in the Canyon's mid safe room.
With all three steps complete, proceed into the Quarry to the area marked in yellow on your minimap. Input the code to unlock the door, and the Shovel can be found inside.

What's That Lever For?
Activate the lever in the Excavation Site.
In the same room you find the shovel will be a glowing lever. Press it 😉

To jump up to the door to the Pit, the player must have the Pogostick, or a combination of the Rocket Pants, Jetpack, and a rocket jump weapon.

The Pit is a gauntlet, filled with many high level enemies that normally don't appear until the Aqua Gardens and Energy Center. Stim Flys are very common, and will often be paired up with Rain Pods to barrage the player with high damaging rounds from a distance. To exit the level, the player must complete three corrupted areas found around the level to unlock the boss door. The boss will always be El' Moustiko, who honestly isn't much of a threat. Destroy any mines he lays and focus down any "mini skitos" to have a smooth fight.

Fusion Core
After completing Doom Gardens, you will enter into the Aqua Gardens. A key will be down directly in front of you when you enter. Continue playing until you reach the mid safe area of Energy Center. Use the key on the door to unlock the Energy Lab. Inside will be Heisenbot, who will sometimes sell the key to the Fusion Core for 9 powercells. He can randomly spawn if you have the red crystal, but can always be found in the mid safe area of Energy Center. This key can be used on the locked door in the mid safe area of Aqua Gardens to unlock the path to the Fusion Core.

The Fusion Core is... the best description is that the floor is lava. The entire level is made up of twisting corridors of acid pools with small platforms to jump between. The Explorer Slippers are a big help in mitigating any accidental acid baths the player may have. Try to keep a "safe" platform that you can always jump back to if things get messy. At the end of Fusion Core is the boss Duke Nukemr. His most dangerous attack tends to be the line beams, as he will often shoot where the player is going instead of the player's current position.

Waste Station
Waaaaarp Zone!
Find and travel through the Portal.
There is a 15% chance that a portal will spawn outside the corrupted area in the Fields. It is purely up to chance and can take several attempts for it to spawn. This portal will take you directly to Waste Station.

If you don't want to take a chance on the portal spawning, you can also enter the Waste Station by entering the Aqua Center from either the Quarry or The Pit. Right before entering the mid safe area you can find the entrance to the Waste Station hidden behind some vegetation. As the Boom Gardens start you already at the mid safe area, you can not enter the Waste Station from the Boom Gardens.

The Waste Station is a speedrun challenge, where you must reach the end of the level and defuse a bomb before the timer expires. Unlike Boom Garden, you do not need to kill any enemies; simply reaching the end will get you the crystal. Killing enemies will simply earn you more experience.
Bosses
Boss Kills
You will achieve these naturally from playing the game and progressing through chapters.

Boss Punisher (Bronze)
Take down 5 Bosses.

Boss Punisher (Silver)
Take down 10 Bosses.

Boss Punisher (Gold)
Take down 15 Bosses.

Misc Achievments
Easy Peasy
Take down a boss without taking damage.
Some pointers to make this easier:
  • Play on Discovery difficulty (duh).
  • Dr. Turret and Billy Boom are what I recommended as the easiest bosses. Both have attacks that are telegraphed very clearly, making it easier to dodge the next attack.
  • The Guardian's Bastion ability is great for blocking attacks that are difficult to avoid. Quickly flick it on before taking damage, and flick it back off to preserve battery.

Oopsie...
Trigger Billy Boom's explosion.
When fighting Billy Boom, standing close to him will begin to fill a meter. Alternatively, once his health is low enough he will fall down and a switch will become highlighted on his back. Continuing to damage him will also cause him to charge up the meter. Fill it all the way up and...
Data-Logs
Log Collector (Bronze)
Retrieve 1 Data-Log.

Log Collector (Silver)
Retrieve 20 Data-Logs.

Log Collector (Gold)

Museum
Gotta Catch' Em All
Complete the Museum.
An achievement so big it gets its own section.

To fully complete the museum, you must 100% every category. This means finding every secret and collectable in the game.

Leonardo Brushido
Inside the Art Gallery on Haven City will be a painter bot asking for a paintbrush. On the next run after giving him the paintbrush, he will begin selling cards for 10 golden wrenches each. This is a great way to collect harder to find cards, or to collect weapon cards that you just reallly don't want to grind (looking at you dragon mortar).

Arsenal
You must get 230 eliminations with every weapon. Weapons that have been completed will have a blue star next to their name when on the ground, which is also visible next to its icon on the bottom of the hud. Just always be prioritizing weapons that haven't been completed, especially if you're doing low-difficulty runs dedicated towards unlocks/other achievements.

Note that eliminations caused by skills or elemental effects will count towards the currently held weapon.

The only "secret" weapons would be the Buddybot and the Shovel. Refer to the Buddybot section of this guide and the Power Crystal section for the shovel.

Robo-Zoo
Every enemy has a set chance to drop a collectable card when eliminated. Bigger and more elusive enemies have a higher chance to drop a card to offset their rarity.

Common
The best way to farm for cards is to jump between Discovery and any Guardian difficulty at or above 2. Playing at or above Guardian 2 will replace the vast majority of enemies with their later-game versions. Play on the difficulty that spawns the enemies that you need.

Goliath & Elite
Playing on Guardian 1 or above, or with all crystals enabled will give you the highest chance of encountering elites. Leonardo Brushido will be your friend here.

Bosses
Bosses will automatically be completed once you have defeated said boss.
  • Diggy Mole, Dr. Turret, and Billy Boom can be found at the end of the Oasis, Ruins, and Quarry.
  • El' Moustiko can be found at the end of The Pit.
  • Duke Nuker can be found at the end of Fusion Core.
  • Sir Catercoaster and The Judgeball can be found at the end of Energy Center.
  • Beetle Royale and Uncle Jim can be found at the end of District 13.
  • Iris is the final boss.

Bazaar
You must collect or purchase every item in the game, as well as collect every gadget. Gadgets are covered in their own section. Simply focus on collecting and buying every item marked as NEW! in shops or chests to speed up this process. Corrupted items can be collected from corrupted areas, and bought from Heisenbot once he's unlocked (and from his store in the Energy Center).

Some items will only be made available after a specific gadget is obtained. Equip just the gadget required to find the right item easier.
Item
Gadget
Cheese
Jetpack
Magnet
Grapple Hook
Cookie
Grapple Hook
Skateboard
Roller
Water Bottle
Hero Cape
Carrot
Pogostick

Fantastic items are much harder to come by, but there is a way to guarantee at least one fantastic item each run. After acquiring the Battery Burger from the Oasis, Johnny will offer up a selection of two guaranteed fantastic items each time you visit him. If you're missing fantastic items, simply speedrun to him each run and restart after grabbing the item.

There is one issue however, in that there are 3 multiplayer only items. The Walkie Talkie, Heart Necklace, and Phone Charger only spawn in multiplayer. It's common to see at least one during a full game, so be sure to pick them up the second they're offered.

Cinemax
Beat the game once.

Story
Find every Data-log. Covered in the Data-log section.

World
Complete every level at least once. These will be shown in color.
"To the Limit"
These achievements require you to reach a threshold that can take an entire game to reach.

Muscle +4000
Reach level 15 in a run.
If you go for maximum eliminations, you should be able to just barely reach level 15 by the time you reach the final boss.
The trick to this achievement is to go the the maximum number of stages possible. A typical run through the main stages only visits 7 stages. You need to fully clear at least 8 stages worth of enemies to just barely reach level 15. Look on the world board in the museum for possible routes. This route below will take you through the maximum 10 stages possible:
  1. Canyons
  2. Ruins
  3. Scrapyard
  4. Fields
  5. Doom Garden
  6. Aqua Station
  7. Energy Center or Fusion Core
  8. Haven City
  9. District 13
  10. The Moon
By following this route and killing everything, level 15 should be guaranteed.

Iron Maiden
Reach the maximum Armor bonus.
The maximum armor bonus possible is 60%. Here are the skills that boost armor.

The following items boost armor as well.
Item

Carnival Mask

Heart Necklace (MP)
+16%

Lastly, you can find specific weapons with the Armored modifier, which will give you +8% armor.
  • Rhino LMG
  • Shredder
  • Dragoon Mortar
  • Comet Cannon
  • Beluga Cannon
  • Kramer
  • Voltaic Cannon
  • Junk Beam
  • Typhoon Minigun
  • Mammoth Minigun
  • Sulfator Shotgun
  • Patator
  • Buffalo Cannon
  • Flak Cannon
  • Kangaroo Sentry
  • Meteor Cannon
  • Power Fists
  • Sulfator Fireworks
  • Dual LMGs
  • Shovel

Engineer is the highest by skill-based bonuses, and can activate all skill bonuses much easier. Taking Engineer with every skill will reach the 60% maximum. While Guardian does have a high number of skill-based armor bonuses, it is also the hardest to maintain with having 4 separate activation requirements. This achievement is possible with Elementalist and Commando, but you will need a weapon with the Armored modifier.

Bazaar Best Friend
Have at least 15 Items equipped at once during a run.
Contrary to what the title would have you believe, you don't need to buy all 15 items from Bazaar Bob. In fact, you can get all of the items for free.
  • Having Max's Furnitures upgraded will almost guarantee that every Max's chest found will have an item (excluding the starting chest).
  • The corrupted chest in each stage can provide another item.
  • After giving Johnny his swimming trunks, he will give away one free fantastic item each run.
  • Unlocking every location in Haven City will net the player 3 extra Max's chests.

Energy Wallet
Spend at least 40 Powercells in a single run.
Over the entirety of a successful run, you should easily accumulate over 90 cells. Simply spend the cells as you earn them, or focus on items if attempting the achievement above. Players also going for full Compendium completion should be buying every item marked as NEW! in the shops to speed up progress.
Be sure to eliminate as many robots as possible to collect cells. Also attempt to S rank every level, as that will reward an additional 3 cells.
Difficulty & Skill
Hardened Guardian
Finish the game on Guardian 4 difficulty.
To unlock Guardian 4 difficulty, you must first complete Hard difficulty, then complete each subsequent difficulty as well. There are no tricks to this; learn the game, figure out some good builds, and get good.

Perfect Run
Finish the game with rank S average.
This means you have to do a full run with every level being completed with an S rank.

Level ranks are based on two factors: Experience and Time.

Experience is earned from eliminating enemies, with bigger enemies awarding more experience. You can track your current experience rank directly below the minimap, with a full bar representing S rank. Generally, you will need to kill all but a tiny handful of enemies to earn an S rank. When exiting a level by a secret area, experience will be counted by the number of possible enemies up to that point.

Time is straight forward; finish the level faster to get a higher score.

Ultimate Guardian
Finish the game on Guardian 4 difficulty with rank S average.
The penultimate achievement.

EDIT 11/29: Well now that I've done this, I'll give some "get gud" pointers that I go by.
  • Go longer for better results.
While it is easier and faster to simply go Canyon > Oasis > Fields > Energy Center, I prefer to go through Canyon > Quarry > Pit > Aqua > Energy. Going through the Pit will guarantee you get 3 additional item chests, as well as an extra level to grind power cells. The only "difficult" part of this path is the extremely tight time limit on Quarry.
  • Make a "kill-list" to prioritize which enemies to kill first when entering a room. Example:
    • Rovers. Rovers give a large amount of exp, and missing one can be very detrimental.
    • Shield Beacon. You will probably only encounter this on Moon.
    • Any bot that can hit instantly from anywhere in the room(Sniper Pod/Elite, Ray enemies)
    • Movement impairing bots (Chain leash effect, hack, or stun) (Leash Bot/Pod, Elite Punk & Wizard, Electro enemies).
    • Enemies with fast attacks that are hard to dodge. Basically Elites, Gatling enemies.
  • Learn the character. All characters have perks that synergise with others.
Example: The Elementalist has many perks that trigger when Mantra cycles. For example:
    • Instant reload perk of Infused Weapons.
    • Armor gain and explosion of Unstable armor.
    • Attunement Trinity damage bonus.
    • Robo Wizard Trinity and Comet refresh.
    • Meteor refresh.
That means it's a very good idea to take Dynamic Mantra if you use any of those perks, as it causes Mantra to cycle 60% faster.
Co-Op
Meet my Brobot
Join a Brobot's game.
Simply play in a game with another person.

Field Mechanic
Reboot your Brobot.
If your partner's health drops to 0, they will be put into a downed state. Simply interact with them to revive them. There is a time limit to this, as they can auto-reboot after a short waiting period.

The Power of Friendship
Finish the game with a Brobot.
Defeat the final boss while playing with another person. Playing on Discovery difficulty is the easiest method.
Misc
Mamma Mia
Perform 5 Headbonks in a row without landing.
The easiest way to earn this achievement is to jump on a Goliath Worm 5 times in a row. They spawn as early as the Oasis, and have enough health to survive all 5 bonks. This is also easier done after the Rocket Pants upgrade and Jetpack gadget are unlocked.

Turns out you can just jump on a heal-bot 5 times to make this count. Will probably be patched at some point.

Master Gambler
Win the Wonka Bar gamble.
Bazzar Bob will occasionally sell an item called the Wonka Bar. Upon purchase it has a 25% chance to award 20 powercells. This is pure luck and can take several tries before you get lucky.

Party Bus
Jump with the Hoverbus in the Loading Screen.
While in the loading screen, press the jump button before the "Press and Key" prompt displays. Basically just mash the jump button the second the loading screen starts. Bonus points are not awarded for jumping in time with the beat, but highly encouraged.

It's Gonna be a Looong Journey
Get knocked out in the Canyons.
It happens to all of us at some point...

Hello, I got level 15 already on the moon and didn’t get the achievement, did you have this? if this has already been mentioned in the comments, tell me, I’ll look more carefully

for the "Oops" achievement (to blow up Billy Boom), I think I just found an alternative solution to triggering the detonator on his back: confront him in close combat. Explanation: I had the exterminator and the poelchakus; it was after having the video of his explosion that I understood one thing: when you are in close combat, red lines appear on him and their presence and movements (from top to bottom) trigger his explosion without using the command (although it would still be necessary to confirm it...)

The only hard one to figure out is Hero Landing. The best way to do it is to lure 5 or 6 small bots together in canyons. It's tedious, but safe and certainly doable.

No. I should get those listed...

The Crystal Powder is a new resource that can only be found at the end of Corrupted Levels you've already completed. Upgrading a weapon from Epic to Fantastic at Willy Wonder's shop will require a Crystal Powder.

For those wanting the two new hidden achievements: One is for beating the game as the new Class, second is hitting 5 enemies as the new class with a Hero Cape slam
