Vanilla Tool Replacement (ToolCore)

Descrição
This mod replaces vanilla ship tools with equivalents using the ToolCore framework:
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3040438530

Currently this doesn't provide a huge improvement, apart from speeding up drills by default and making all tools far more customisable, but it has the potential for noticeable performance improvements; also anyone willing to run this on their world or server and report bugs/issues to me on discord will be much appreciated!

My simulation speed drops to 0.2~0.4 when I activate my 8x8 large drill array with this mod. Anything I missed in the setup?

Am i assuming correctly that the same blocks are used and no issues would arise for blueprints being used on servers where this mod is not installed?

Hi there @Ash Like Snow, I wanted to report a bug, the drill won't be available for selection in available tools and weapons when using it on a custom turret controller setup, I haven't tried the grinder or welder but it would be a good idea to take a look into it, thank you so much for the toolcore mod! It looks great!

I am a bit sad that grinders don't apply physics when they grind using this mod. In vanilla small grids will start bouncing all over when you start grinding, necessitating some interesting designs for grinder pits (notably them being pits).

Bug - small grid drills would get removed from hot bar when disconnecting from station, then would not be accessible to re-add to the hotbar without a relog.

Love the smooth Drilling! After some tests I discovered a few Issues:
- The radius of the drills is smaller then in vanilla.
- You get only about 1/5th of the mined ore from rhe same voxel amount compared to vanilla.
- The Inventory size of all the tools is set to only 1000.
I don´t use Discord, hope it´s ok to post it here.

Could this be used to reduce the AoE of welders? Want to have a LG welder with a range of about 1-2 SG blocks at the tip for a factory setup I have been working on a bit. If possible would want it to look like an SG welder but attach to a LG large port. I am not knowledgeable about mod creations and after reading the description here and on the ToolCore it sound like it could be possible this way, but I don't want this mod to replace vanilla/Toolcore welder, but be an additional tool block.

@TrueWhiteKnight To be honest, when I started using them I thought the same. I forwent reading the instructions (derp). I actually found out that feature by accident while testing them. I thought they had to be on MY ship and somehow hacked wirelessly or something perhaps. I defeated an MES ship which crashed and when I used the gear to grab it and tote it home, I found everything, that was left at least, was assigned to me. :selike:

@Scientwist I never knew about that. I had always thought that it was necessary to plant the hacking modules on the target grid.

@TrueWhiteKnight The hacking mod Anubis linked to doesn't NEED to have the hacking blocks placed on the construct to be hacked. If you have a small enough ship and can slip by defenses, you can have the hacking blocks on your ship, just anchor to the target with landing gear and it'll auto hack. The more hacking modules you have the faster the hack as far as I've tested. Unless something has changed since the last time I used them, it should still be like this.
