HXS-1B是HXS-1型通用直升机的改进型号，该机为一型共轴反桨直升机，主动力为两具起落架动力BUG引擎，并且在机尾处安装了一台推进式喷气发动机。
该型直升机在前型号舱门前端两侧添加了机炮，修改了进气道位置并改进了螺旋桨，同时这也是该型直升机的正式版本。
