Update: I seemed to have found a fix. Copying and pasting the original unitview.gui file from the base game files seem to fix the issue, and the mod still seems to function fine. Although, I'm not exactly sure how and why this seems to fix the issue.

The mod seems to break the leader xp shortcut box that shows up when you hover your mouse over a general/field marshal's level counter.
