basically is straight forward .
1: set mode to reader . i mean your aim should be speed running for achievement so reader should be best unless you're going for a double grab then i suggest nothing more than normal.

2.set QTE to click as failing one will instantly kill you. it can be found in settings.

3: if its ng+ make use of "my weapons" it can save your a lot of grief but its super buggy so i suggest to go offline mode when starting iron mode run as it solves the issue .

4: skip all side tasks.

5: beware taiga! as lovely as the map is its a iron mode menace . so many fall damage opportunity's.

6: beware of traps. they can mean a game over specially volga there are quite a few traps

7: fire damage is deadly. be careful while using Molotov as flame damage area of effect is big

8: crashes are a run killer. these might cause crashes even on a mid level gaming pc.

car exiting. sometimes while exiting the car it can crash mid exiting so be careful

partials can cause a crash . a solution is going for medium settings.

trying to save a run by climbing on a platform while falling. this is a very rare bug that can only be encountered before u meet up with alosha in taiga level. but this bug will end the run 100%

8: you can literally skip Caspian level. in a few easy steps saving you 1H+
step 1. get the car
step 2. head over to the pipe where damir lifts up the grate for you.( follow tracks to the fort at the end and by the broken tanker go left)
step 3. okay here is a small nuisance. head to pipe there should be a small cliff near it drive off it but jump before the car heads over to avoid fall damage.
step 4. once at the bottom get back in the car and ram the grate it should disappeer if not ram it a few more times until u can see it clipping ( getting stuck deeper in the pipeline as it should be ) in the pipe. get out then melee attack the grate it should start moving back down the pipeline do this till u can head off to the left .
step 5. continue onwards like normal. defeat baron and move on.
