OWB ERX Sigma Intervention

Description
"Only the most veteran of Enclave forces, trained in multiple forms of combat, earn the right to call themselves Sigma. Each man in has seen numerous combat sorties and lived to tell about them. Whenever you encounter Sigma Squads, you know something vital to the Enclave is close by."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This mod to Enclave Reborn - Redux adds a unique set of dynamic decisions and events which allows the player to spend political power to send Enclave Sigma to various wasteland nations' conflicts. Once there, they will employ guerrilla tactics to deliver devastating blows to these nations' abilities to wage war. But remember: They can only be deployed for so long, and only to one nation or the other. That is, unless you should be resourceful or ruthless enough.

It felt strange, to me, that the Enclave would have so much access to technology, superior tactics, and an elite fighting force. But the player must leave AI conflicts, which may have purview within the player's own machinations, almost entirely up to chance, with no way whatsoever to influence them.

Thus, we have Sigma Intervention. Use it wisely!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Compatibility:

Mod requires both Old World Blues and Enclave Reborn - Redux. Mod has no incompatibilities.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To do:

- Add more interventions in more wasteland nations that will be of interest to the Enclave. Open to suggestions in that regard!
- Add a closing event to indicate why Sigma intervention will inevitably find itself put on the backburner as the game gets into its later stages.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please report if you encounter any bugs or glitches and I will address them as soon as possible.

I think that might be a suggestion for Zach

Currently in the mod, you can create puppets into The Den, The Vipers, and the Jackals. (Maybe others I am forgetting?)

It would be interesting to see these factions that you can create into Enclave puppets expand further

A custom flag, maybe leader for these nations would be neat. There's already an Enclave focus tree that they use in the mod so you don't need to create a new one. Just use what's already there

I would suggest adding interventions for the mojave for the first and second battle of hoover since the mojave is said to be important from the first intervention of the bos V ncr. Maybe options to secure military depos or bases to gain slight buffs or tech earlier, or more sabotage options on nations like crippling resources or production for a bit. Otherwise a more broad idea is using the sigma for coups on smaller nations with small governments that the NCR might not notice being taken over and integrated either into New rEno or as a puppet state. A big idea is using sigma to target more specific targets like leaders or generals to sow choas. Otherwise you could simply in late game start to lean on the idea that sigma is dismantled as the FBI and CIA are reformed and other agencies draining sigma operations or taking operatives to help reform those agencies. Anyway great mod, enjoy using it every playthrough.

And being able to send them out again for multiple tours in the same conflict could be nice.

I'd say adding the option to intervene in New Reno would be nice, since sometimes the Vipers declare a very early war.

No, it has not been integrated.
