Have you considered working with Nanu and their Sartosa Overhaul mod ? It seems a lot of content you plan on doing has already been done : Sartosa pirate and dwarf buccaneer units, jaego roth

Phenomenal work! The original looked like a generic faction imo, this looks much more like a major faction icon
