That's mostly because of the new control scheme.
I was playing this almost right after it came out. I miss the original megabots....
And the less speed limits on drones the flight speed is fking horrid now. Not that I play it much anymore after some of the updates that removed some of my favorite playstyles with uber warp drives and such.
