Description
The New Complete Revamp of Brita's Armor pack has come INTO LUA! SP/MP

THIS MOD CHANGES EVERY STAT REGARDING THE ORIGINAL MOD ! !

BRAND NEW UPDATE
WE MIGRATED FROM .txt to .lua bois! What does that mean!? It means it won't override files! it opens new posibilities, like creating configurations, change more stuff and... honestly, I barely know what I can do lol

Now into the details ~
  • All pieces of clothing has been carefully analyzed, now all of them have differents stats, ranging from protection, to insulation, to weight, to finally reaching where it applies these changes!
  • Now clothing have a more realistic stats, since a lot of clothing had the same stats, which didn't make sense at all! Quick example, shorts that cover the entire leg, jackets that reach your legs but doesn't cover them, jackets which can be equipped with hoodies which stats doesn't change, open/closed clothing have same insulation! not anymore!
  • All clothing will make sense! If you open your jacket, it will reduce the insulation, if you add a hoodie, it will add weight, protect and insulate more, if you wear a jacket and you roll up your sleeves, it won't cover that zone anymore, shorts just cover groin, and so much more!!!
  • Now there is easter eggs! Some clothing have special stats, do you want to run faster? do you want to swing fast too!? You can find special clothing which add these stats. Want a clue? I'm not your "father," go explore for special characters!!!
  • Have anyone wonder why does gloves are so useless? Not anymore, if you find gloves from the mod, you'll get more protection and a better grip !
  • Does military have new changes? Of course, now they weight a little bit more or less, they don't take 50% of your run speed like it used too, it cover your body properly, and so much more~
  • So, not everything is about clothes, what about are beloved bags! That got changed too, now bags will have a more realistic balance, since most bags had the same capacity... not anymore, if you have a tiny backpack, it will have a huge weight reduction but little space and such! This also includes side bags and such
  • There is a little change with bandoliers, since they were useless, now you can put ammo if you like~
  • What about underwear? Well... this mod started because of underwear, I wanted to make stocking have insulation and such, now it has! It also applies depending how on you wear it. Want to wear it only on your feet? Go ahead. Want to make it half your leg? Serve yourself!
  • Stop checking the list and go check it yourself!

but isn't this a buff somehow? Yes and no... a lot of clothing can protect more, but it could also weight more, it all depends on which piece of clothing you want to use, but now they all serve a purpose~ But everything is way more rare, clothing and special zeds, so keep that in mind~

Have you tried using ItemTweaker Extra Clothing Option Addon ? Its description says the 'remove extra clothing option' has been added.

@twitch.tv/thefait818 why wouldn't it be? well, yeah, it's, I use my mod with bandits and it works xD
@莫名某某 Honestly, removing a section with ItemTweaker is not possible, that's a limitation of the mod, I wanted to do the same with some clothing by removing the frabic type, but it gives a lot of errors and problems, so sadly, I don't currently know a workaround it :(

The Arm Shotgun Shell Holder and Arm Shotgun Shell Holder Sets are interchangeable.
Is there a way for ItemWeaker to remove the ClothingItemExtraOption code from the original file?
Now they can vary between containers of different sizes.

@Calasmeer Star Wars capes are in Brita's Armor mod. I don't even use this mod and I have them.

yes, the only way for the mod compatibility would be, as people report incompatible mods, copying over those body location lines to yours, I believe zre did that as well with the apo ponchos but missed britas (I had to patch it for my server)

it'd be a lot of work and I have done it myself for my personal server but it is only patched for the mods we use.

I definitely agree, I really don't think an item by item basis is possible (hopefully in the future)

@Salvo Now I get what your idea is, if I added, let's say, a new bodylocation lua file, it's literally going to be base file without the exclusives parts, I would be just deleting those lines and leaving it like that, making it replace the original file, which can also have more issues if you use other mods that also edit that same file (mostly, old mods).

I also know that... it's most likely not possible to do it on a item by item basis, since this mod relies on ItemTweaker, which has already a couple limitations, so I'm really sure it's not possible to do it like that, which means that, yeah, no open coats + bulletproof vests. Also, I forgor that bodylocations deals with exclusivity, so yeah, it's a base game problem. :OctaviaShrug:

as far as I know you can't do it on an item by item basis, if you do try and it I'm wrong, please let me know (should just be whatever would come after base. in the spawn code if I had to guess)

so, say you want to remove the conflition between the torso extras and the coveralls (torsoextra and boilersuit in the code)

group:setExclusive("Boilersuit", "TorsoExtra") would be the line doing that, it ONLY touches those 2 items conflicting and there are multiple more lines for other conflicting items, removing that line is all that you have to do to remove the exclusion, it won't touch things like TorsoExtraVest by doing that, unless you remove the line for TorsoExtraVest as well
