I loved the detailed environment and the writing, it was more of a mental journey than a physical one. It absorbed the war concept only from a distance, but it had impact nonetheless. Really great considering how much time you had on you.
Some improvement ideas for the whole thing:
- I wish I could have met the critter creatures in a threatening form. The cut SOMA creature that is a spider would work here nicely in my opinion (with some modiifications)
- Being short it could still use some autosaves
- Small bugs I mentioned, like being able to fall out of the vent, maybe only activate the ladder after you pulled the handle. Also the small turning thingie to open the vent should appear in the inventory in my opinion.
That's all, worth both the recommendation and the award, nice job!
