Survive as long as you want with this build (v.0.4.2)
By Hopeless
With this team you can easily get "Survive 30 minutes on Endless Mode" achievements or just play as long as you want (I got bored after 2+ hours).

Team
                           Engineer lvl 3

It's crucial for build to have low skill cooldown.
Energy Shield is our main ability as it stops non-boss zombies.

                           Ghost lvl 3

Hologhost handles bosses by distracting them so they don't run after you.

                           Medic lvl 3

Needed to withstand blows.
Theoretically you can do this with a lvl 1 medic, but reanimation saves you from missplays, and stimpack helps you run away from zombies.
Upgrades
This builds requires 199 Training Points (team level 40).
If you have more points, I recommend spending them on Power Metal (your abilities deal more damage). In the early stages it helps, but in the later stages more damage means nothing.
Items
If you can get Teddy Bear (+10 Luck) and the Item Chest (Opening an Item Chest grants you a bonus of +0.1 Luck and +0.2 Dodge chance) early on, that would be awesome. However it's not prerequisite.

First of all, focus on reducing the ability cooldown with Nuts & Bolts (ability cooldown -10%), Homing Pingeon (ability cooldown -5%, ability damage +5%) and Solar Panel (ability Cooldown -5%, weapon reload time - 5%). Reducing ability cooldown is important for Hologhost, medic abilities and permanent Energy Shield.

The second priority is to increase survivability by improving speed, invisibility, HP, HP regen, dodge and bonus healing.

Ignore or banish everything else (damage, crits, reload time, fire rate, etc.).
Gameplay
Start with Engineer and upgrade his Taser to Tesla before you pick survivor. If you don't see Taser, upgrade Energe Shield instead.

Then try to get Ghost or Medic on your team. Use rerolls if you don't find them. I recommend choosing Ghost as your second team member, as it will be easier to see Hologhost in upgrades. However, it is not a prerequisite.

Banish Katana, Kunai, Shuriken and Handgun (Medic) to more easily find the upgrades you need.

Don't upgrade Tesla to the max (lvl 4), keep it on lvl 3 or lover (othervise it will give 2 bad options in the pool).

In early game focus on upgrading Energe Shield, Hologhost and Field Surgery. You may choose Electric Turret, EMP grenade or Electrocution with lower priority.

In mid game try to upgrade Reanimation to the max. Also upgrade Stimpack and Transplantology with lower prioriy.

One last recommendation - be careful with picking up shield bonuses, try to use them only when necessary, as they give immunity to damage.

Here's an example of how I survived 2+ hours in endless mode. I tried not to pick some powerful items in the beginning, as some people who want to earn "Survive 30 minutes..." won't have them. You can survive for as long as you want. I got bored and decided to finish the run.

That's it. Have fun!

"Luck" was previously called "Happiness". I wrote the guide for version 0.4.2. The strat works now, but I haven't found time to update some information, sorry.
Potato is the item you can get from a chest. You only need Potato to get "Curly Little Potato" achievement , otherwise it's useless.

Er.... so what is Happiness? And Potato? Thanks

Luck increases the drop rate of power-ups and the rarity of upgrades.

What does Luck actually do?
Hopeless  [author] 13 Jan @ 3:19pm
Yes. It is even easier now, because you can reduce ability cooldown and increase dodge with minor level-ups (by collecting new military powerups).

Happiness increases the drop rate of power-ups.

What does the happiness do? Is it item find% or something?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, it works on Vile Wasteland. I see that you got this achievement, so congrats.
If anyone needs to see a run on the new map with this build, let me know. I'll try to record a video when I have free time. This should be even easier in 0.3.3 since enemies have been nerfed.

Does this strategy work on Vile Wasteland? I've been trying to get that 30 min survival achievement and I just can't seem to. Even tried this strategy.
