The Impulse

Leírás
Able to teleport short distances by expending bursts of energy; this electric slugcat can outmaneuver almost any creature.

Features
  • A Teleporting Dash:
    • Press jump and grab at the same time to perform a near instantaneous zip through the air.
    • Impulse can store enough energy in its tail for two quick zips, but can store up to 10 more in its body.
    • 6 Zip charges can be regained at the cost of one food pip by trying to zip downwards when grounded.
  • Electric Crafting Recipies:
    • Rubbish and spears found around the world can be charged, for a cost.
    • Press and hold grab to charge an electric spear or piece of rubbish, or to consume its charge to replenish zips.
    • Press and hold up and grab with both an electrified rubbish and a spear to craft an electric spear.
  • An Electrocuting Maul:
    • Costs 3 zips. Electrocutes the target creature, but deals no damage.

Notes
This mod has no custom worldstate or interesting cutscenes.
This mod limits Electric Rubbish spawns to Impulse's campaign (spearmaster's worldstate) by default.

This mod is great, loving the zips and electric crafts. Excellent decision to give them a food cost, it can get really significant if you overuse the zips, and the Spearmaster worldstate helps keep things humbling.

Just got to Looks to the Moon and her dialogue made me crack up that was hilarious. "Oh honey, you're back. Don't go back to that evil man, he's bad for you" THAT'S HILARIOUS great work with this mod, the Impulse is great fun to play with so far, and being able to make electric spears kinda rules and provides a lot of options in combat.

I definitely don't understand oracle completely, but you can check out my code here: https://github.com/Phacenox/SparkCat/blob/master/Oracle.cs basically just replacing spearmaster's conversations.
