This is the first method you can use to ban someone.

To ban someone in the "Teams and Players" tab, you must select their name, click "kick", and then kick them from your server.

To ban someone from chat, simply open up the chat, click on the Red Button with the shield icon next to their message, and then ban them.

On the ban panel, you have many options. I will go over each one in here.

Ban duration
This changed the duration of the ban (nah, really?). You can ban them from anywhere between 10 seconds to 1 year (though there is a way to extend it which I'll get into later).

Ban reason
This a message you can send to the person being banned.
It's pretty simple. You don't like someone, so you ban them and send them a personalized message about how much you hate them I mean the reason as to why they got banned.

Actions
You can do three things. You can cancel, ban, and revoke.

Cancel
You cancel the ban. That's it.

Ban
You ban them and live peacefully knowing that you'll (probably) never see them again.

Revoke
This one is only accessible through the "Manage bans" tab.
This is how you can actually unban people. Pretty cool.

Say someone left your server before you could kick them to avoid getting banned, well you can still actually ban them.
All you have to do is ban them via the chat.

Now we're getting into the more advanced options that require the use of the Game.ini file. Damaging this file can be devastating, and editing it at the wrong time can lead to your game breaking.
Also I don't mean all of this to scare you away from using this file. Knowing how to access and edit it can be an amazing tool. But like all tools, using it improperly can be extremely dangerous.
So please, just be cautious.

The format for a ban in the Gami.ini file is:

KickedPlayers=(PlayerId= (Player SteamID) ,PlayerName="Username",KickTime=YYYY.MM.DD-HH.MM.SS,KickDuration=1.6 (I do not know what 1.6 means, so please inform me in the comments),KickReason="Kick Reason")

The file directory to go to the file is:
C:\Users\ (your username) \AppData\Local\BrickRigs\SavedRemastered\Config\WindowsNoEditor

This will be very useful for the rest of the guide.

In the bolded part of the format, you will be able to change the duration of the ban to quite literally whatever you want.
I typically use this to perma ban people.

This my personal favorite setting.

Let's say you want to stop a person or group of people from joining your server. The only problem is, your friend is hosting it this time, and doesn't have them banned.

Solution?
Simply share your ban info.

Teach your friend how to safely edit their Game.ini file and share your ban info with them.

Someone has even shared an entire file of ban info for ARP members before(you don't have to worry about them anymore).

Always remember to CLOSE THE DAMN SERVER BEFORE YOU SAVE THE FILE.
