Step 1:

Click on `Play´



Step 2: When you click on `Play´ it shows you a menu and you have to click on `Play Hearts of Iron IV´ You can skip the launcher selecting a setting on this menu, if you do this go to `How to start a new game in single player´

Step 3 (final step):

If you are on the launcher click on `Play´

Step 1:

Click on `Single Player´


Step 2:

Click on `New Game´ or you can click on `Tutorial´, if you do this you will start playing as Italy with Penis Head and you can skip step 3, 4, 5 (go to `How create a multiplayer server on HOI4´)


Step 3:

Click on `Gathering Storm´ or `Blitzkrieg´, next, click on `Select Scenario´


Step 4:

Click on a flag or a portrait (the image of the leader of the country), next, click on `Select Country´


Step 5 (final step):

Select a dificulty, turn on or turn off Ironman Mode and `Historical AI Focuses´, and the Custom Game Rules. You can change the AI Behavior, but if you want it to have effect you must have some DLC and you can select other country clicking on the territory of the country that you want to choose ,and finally, click on `Start´

Step 1:

Click on `Multiplayer´


Step 2:

When you click on `Multiplayer´, it shows you a menu that has a variety of options, but, what I'm going to show you is how to create a server to play with people. Click on `Host´


Step 3:

Select the settings and you can put a password


Step 4:

Invite a player


Step 5 (final step):

Send your friend the server id and password (if your server has a password)

You learned a few things about HOI4 and I recommend playing with mods but since you may have seen this guide because you didn't know how to start HOI4, you probably don't know how to install mods, anyway, enjoy HOI4
