Before you continue reading, there are 2 missables I think you should be aware of ASAP:

• As soon as you gain the ability to fly, talk to SeraÏ while camping to get Joce's Belt Buckle. You can miss this if you defeat the boss in the Throne of The Queen That Was before acquiring it. I'm still investigating the exact point it becomes missable.
  
• Also around the same time, but not as missable per se, you can get the Artful Gambit relic in the same boss area as the point above. If you want to reduce the bosses you have to fight in NG+ for the What a technique! achievement, then it's good to get this relic as early as possible (as soon as you can fly). I still think it's less of a hassle to just do all 10 bosses in NG+ though.

Some parts are spoiler-tagged because they're points related to the middle/end of the game.

You need to defeat the 9 other Wheels Players in whichever order you choose before you can challenge the Watchmaker in Clockwork Castle. Note that the player in Repine requires a table before you can play a game of Wheels. You can buy a table from the Watchmaker for 250 Gold.

Thanks a ton to both Rip and RoyMishima for some helpful advice regarding this achievement. Later bosses/encounters that give you a large amount of distance during Moonerang will probably make this achievement much easier. Additionally, if you aren't relying on distance, I suggest finding encounters like the one shown on this video that give you an equal amount of distance spread between enemies. As RoyMishima suggested, once the Moonerang reaches top speed, tap the deflect button when you hear the attack connect (as a sound cue).
Lock's Myth
Break a total 50 locks in battle

What a technique!
Defeat 10 bosses with Artful Gambit relic on


The only partially skill-based component in the game. If done fresh during NG+, you'll need to at least reach the Leaf Monster boss to defeat enough bosses for this achievement. It may be possible to get the Artful Gambit much earlier by breaking the sequence of events in the game, but I don't know if this affects the dialogue to get Joce's Belt Buckle. Please let me know if you have information on this.

Artful Gambit Relic Effects:

• Lowers the player's maximum HP by 95%, including HP gained from other items
  
• Bonus from successful timed hits is doubled
  
• Timed blocks reduce damage taken to 1
  
• Enemies cannot take damage while casting.

• Complete the side content related to the following achievements: Hey, that's a reskin!, Better off dead, Glassdiator, Free from serviduke, Elder Dissed
  Rough instructions:
  • Hey, that's a reskin! - Talk to Resh'an's puppet and it will point to a location. Go to the ??? island Northwest of your home world to activate a series of light puzzles on the world map. Each one leads to a whirlpool further leading to a puzzle and Docarri Sealed Fragments. At the end of these puzzles and fragments, you fight a Sea Slug boss. See the video under the achievement for some assistance.
    
  • Better off dead - Talk to Seraï to get Joce's Belt Buckle (HIGHLY MISSABLE if you don't talk to Seraï before looking for the throne). Talk to teaks for some cryptic instructions on reaching the Throne of The Queen That Was via the Cerulean Expanse (the Artful Gambit relic can be found here). At the end of the Throne of The Queen That Was is a boss fight.
    
  • Glassdiator - The arena in Brisk should be complete by the time you can enter the Fleshmancer's Lair. Beat all 4 arena ranks to fight the big boss.
    
  • Free from serviduke - Complete the Windmill puzzle accessed through flight (Romaya's Secret Passage). The solution is above the locked gate that's protecting a chest. It's different for each playthrough so remember the color and symbol pattern before you head there. Give the loot behind that locked gate to Duke Aventry and get a Yellow Flame to access the Half-Sunken Tower via the Ferryman. At the end of this new area you'll fight a boss and get the item to free Duke Aventry. Talk to Duke Aventry one last time to get a key to his coffin. Inside the Coffin is some good armor and an artifact (Teaks story item). See video below for more assistance.
    
  • Elder Dissed - Simply complete all flight-accessible Solstice Shrines and head to the previously locked area in the Mountain Trail (just before reaching the Elder Mist) for a boss rematch.
• Not sure if this matters but defeat the Watchmaker in a game of Wheels too.
  
• After completing all of the above, activate the Chronophage in Moorlands to get Garl back.
  
• During some camping event triggered by Garl's return, keep talking to him until you get the Hook of Time and he points you to Stillpond Island.
  
• Fish in Stillpond Island to reveal a dungeon entrance. At the end of that dungeon entrance is an NPC that will give you a Gilded Invitation. Bring this to the Golden Pelican.
  • Note: You can exit this dungeon by re-entering the final room. You'll see a whirlpool that will take you outside of the dungeon entrance.
• After the events at the Golden Pelican, you can now challenge the boss of the Fleshmancer's Lair for a slightly tougher boss encounter. Prepare for some extra SHMUP action on top of the usual boss shenanigans. That's it. Lemme know if I missed anything.
