Many beginner players, when they start playing, instantly join hardcore vanilla servers and maps that are not good for learning. I'm going to explain what the best way to learn game mechanics is.

- First of all, what you need to learn is decent movement and gun feeling. The best way to learn it is by PvPing frequently. The best map for it is PEI, as it's small and players are everywhere. You should find a server with free kits with a low cooldown. Personally, I would recommend freezer servers. Those types of servers will improve your movement and gun feel.

- After spending enough time practicing movement and aim, you should move on large maps on semi-vanilla servers when you feel confident. Large semi-vanilla maps help you improve your thinking in the open world, such as strategies, flanking, trigger discipline, ambushing and other important fast decisions. You also learn the importance of your own loot as you get items yourself without using kits, and it teaches you many survival instincts.

- Building is one of the main game parts when we talk about semi-vanilla or vanilla servers, but I'm not going to talk about base designs; it's the player's preference. To become good in the game, you should know how to craft things and build fast, as every second in PvP matters. One of the most important items in a building is the "Housing Planner," which allows you to place objects such as a roof, wall and more instantly. It also makes skybase PvP easier as it allows you to easily bridge between the skybases in the sky.

- Third Person can be used as an advantage when waiting an enemy behind an object.

- Switching Between Third and First Persons can be useful in different situations. You have less recoil in First person and it is easier to hit players on a big distance

- Peeking while jumping and proning makes you a hard target for an enemy as it accelerates your character

- Best way to not die fast in PvP is moving Actively and Spamming Prone and Leaning to the right and left. It confuses your enemy and makes it harder for him to hit you.

- Be aware of your surroundings. If you don't see anyone it doesn't mean no one sees you. Try to move a lot and jump as it makes you a harder target for your enemy. If you stand still at one place or just move forward you are a lot easier target.

- While using W,A,S and D keys in the sky your character is still moving. It is helpful while parkouring or jumping in a hole.

- Changing positions can be a good addition to your PvP Skills

- Best way to get important items such as Dressing from inventory as fast as possible is binding it to a hotkey. Left click on the item and press the number you want to use as a hotkey [3-9]

- You don't need to reload everytime you shoot. You can also combine two half empty mags and make one full mag.

- Don't get hungry for loot if you think you can die.

- Change your Point of View to 129-120. It allows you to see more on your screen.

- Never use a Nightvision. Use Gamma Calibration or Brightness Setting instead.

- If you are outnumbered in a PvP, don't hurry, hide in environment and wait till you get the perfect opportunity to take a fight.

- if you have a skybase to raid and it has claim flags around, craft makeshift car and build a plate bridge on it. That way you can use it as a bridge.

- Build Claim flag inside the walls or Pillars if you have a teammate

- You can use slippery plates as a boost to get on the skybase as well, you need to destroy wall first to get inside.

- You can use Umbrella while falling down to prevent fall damage. Use it when you are near to the ground to fall faster.

- Frequently check the sky for a skybase droppers.
