MV Blue Dolphin

**DISCLAIMER: Drill rod return mode doesn't work yet because I am bad at coding**

The MV Blue Dolphin is a twin 6 cylinder diesel driven mobile oil drilling platform. Designed to contain everything needed to drill for oil in most parts of the ocean. It carries 290m of drill rod enabling it to function at basically any depth you would need it to.

The Blue Dolphin has plenty of equipment that ensures accurate positioning over oil wells. It has an error system that tells you when you are within operable range of a marked oil well. It also has 4 semi-automatic anchors that dynamically adjust cable tension to insure you do not drift. Because of the high fuel capacity the Blue Dolphin is capable of idling for many hours over a well, meaning you can keep it stationary and send other ships to extract the oil from the Blue Dolphin while it continues to drill/pump.

How to drill-
1.) Enable rod picker mover and elevator at drill control panel #1
2.) Go over to the rod picker, grab a rod and it should automatically be grabbed (if it doesn’t that means that the next station is full so it will not pick anything up)
3.) Take the elevator to the main drill platform and use the rod transfer to move a rod into the drill table (all parts of main drill platform are color coded for ease of use)
4.) Before you lower a drill rod lower than the drill table go back down to the deck and move the well head into position under the drill table
5.) You will have better luck betting a drill rod into the well head if you sink a rod before unlocking it from the crane
6.) When lowering the well head make sure to load it in 10m increments (besides the first time you lower it, when you do that bring it only to 4m, every time you lower it afterward lower it at the normal increment stoping at numbers ending in 4.XXm)
