There are 3 ways to play Buildest with friends.

1. Online multiplayer

For this one, you just need to invite your friend through the friends list in Steam overlay, while you and your friend are staying in the main menu. Once the connection will be ready you can start playing together.

Right now you can connect only with common regions: USA-USA, EU-EU. For connection between regions, you can use the next option.

2. Steam Remote Play

You can stream your screen to your friend using this feature. Just invite your friend through the friend list in Steam overlay, but this one pick "Remote Play" option. Don't forget to setup a local coop player settings before starting playing the game.

For this method to work you will need at least one gamepad.

3. Local multiplayer

If you want to play on one PC you can always stick to the local coop option. Just plug in gamepad and setup local coop player settings and start playing.
