"Here's how you get the effect. First install reshade https://reshade.me/
Select hl2.exe in entropy zero's folder (go to entropy zero's page in your library, hit the gear, and click browse local files to find the exe). Select directx 9.0.
Now, use the following settings after hitting the home key ingame to open the reshade menu.
Check adaptivesharpen, aftercolormask, ambientlight, blue noise motion blur, chromaticity, and leave these with default settings. Then, check Cshade_Autoexposure, set the smoothing to 1.699 and the exposure to 1.231, set the spot metering scale to 0.465 and leave the rest of the settings untouched. Check Cshade_bloom, set the threshold and smoothing to 1, the saturation to 0.670, and the intensity to 0.177. Check eye adaption, set the adaption delay to 1.686, the adaption triggerradius to 4, the y axis focal point to 0.500, the adaption equilibrium to 1, and the adaption strength to 2. Check perfect perspective and don't change anything. Check sharpcontrast, set the strength to 0.667 and leave everything else untouched. Check trackingrays, set the intensity to 1, the curve to 5, and the scale to 2.4. Finally, check VHS_RA, set the wiggle to 0 and the chroma smear to 0.30.
For convenience at the top of the menu click settings and set an effect toggle key. It's best you turn off the effect while in menus."
