Ryodo Island, North Korea

설명
Ryodo Island (sometimes called Ryo-do, Yo-do or Yodo-ri, hangul: 려도) is an island in Wonsan harbor in South Hamgyong Province, North Korea.

This island is of great strategic importance. During the Korean War of the 50s, the size of Ryodo Island, its position and topography made it an ideal base for the blockade of North Korean Wonsan.
On the island, as far as we know, there is a village and an airfield functioned for some time. Something similar to a runway can be seen in the western part of the island. Now, as far as we know, there are agricultural fields there. In addition, one or more North Korean military facilities appear to be operating on the island, taking into account the location and strategic importance of the island.

The map was created using the GameRealisticMap Studio program. To familiarize yourself with this program, go to the dependency.
Since the program is at the very beginning of its journey, the generated Asian buildings look doubtful, but in general the island came out very nice and decent, in my opinion, so I published this among a bunch of other created maps.

I'd be willing to bet that ArmA 4 has lore evolving around Korean territories and factions

Yes, I've been thinking about such a scenario. without difficulty, anyone who wants will be able to install on this map a mod from Drongo called Map Population for such cases with a number of others. Regarding the North Korean soldiers, I think the best are in Project Opfor.
by the way, an update has been released in the program, which will allow you to edit the map and create high-quality villages, military facilities, and so on. when there are days off in my work, I will do it. meanwhile, I recommend that you all also try out this program and try to create something, including from the North Korean setting. Chinese/North Korean terrain would be a great backdrop for a spec op mission where no help is coming.

No resupply.
No CAS
Maybe rescue the old scientist that is a double agent and fight your way out.
Maybe rescue the kid prodigy that wants out to the west?
Maybe get eyes on a black site.
Maybe stealth on to the site and gather physical Intel.
Plant listening devices.
Have it all go wrong and run to the sub.
Have it go right and have an extended trek to a friendly border with Zeus harassing all the way.
A totally hostile/forbidden environment will put new demands on a co-op group.
Its now not a battle space but an arena for stealth,navigation,command and mods such as undercover etc.

I partly put defensive North Korean structures against landings, against the air. only I can't upload it to steam yet, because such functionality is not available in the program, as it is written in the description of the mod. wait, and I will fill out this map as much as possible.
