Oil Rig Base

Açıklama
This is an oil rig for the purchasable oil platform.

It features:
- Highly automated drilling and refining
- A floating pontoon style dock for easy loading
- 6 ports each to load diesel or jet fuel and 6 ports to unload oil form elsewhere
- A helipad with refueling ports
- Automatic night/bad weather lighting
- One room with an interior on the second floor of the barracks. (saves lag)
- Price is 380.000 to spawn. It tries to spawn about 1400L of diesel in the diesel tank to be able to use the refinery at first

How to Drill:
- The well head lowers itself automatically.
- Go down to the control room and find the control panel.
- Make sure there is not more that 10% wind but ideally no wind.
- Engage automation (button) to start the lowering of the drill rods.
- The drill rod might get stuck, I was able to solve it by toggling the drill table rotation (Start drill button)
- When the drilling rod reaches the well head an indicator light goes on indicating that the drilling rod is aligned with the well head and clamped by it. Check for movement and if you think it is aligned well, press 'anchor well head'.
- If the light doesn't come on disengage automation and try to raise and then lower the drilling rod again with the 'jack up' and 'down' buttons until you see alignment. If you have trouble you may have to wait out calmer weather.
- Once the well head is anchored and the rods can't go down any more engage the rotary table with the start drill button if you didn't already have it on. NOTE: I have tested this on 2 worlds, single ant multiplayer and in both cases I didn't need to drill at all, I would immediately strike oil once the rods were down. In this case you can skip the drilling.
- Keep automation on to automatically add new rods once needed when drilling and to keep the rods down when pumping oil.
- If you hear the thundering sound and see the oil fountain you can stop the drill and engage the pump (button).
- If you drilled here before and struck oil then, you won't need to drill or get the oil animation again. You can just continue pumping when the rod is down and clamped and the well head is anchored

- Now you are pumping oil!
- You can go outside to start the refineries. When they are hot enough they are self sustaining.

Further Notes:
- There is a key button called "Unclamp Rod From Table" This is to release all the rod that already was put down. So BEWARE I have never needed it but thought it might come in handy in the future during a fault.
- The pump speed can supply one refinery, with 2 it will slowly drain the oil tank.
- I kept the interior to a minimum to spare some resources and keep it playable. Though you can find a bed and
medical bed on the second floor of the barracks.
- The editing table is built in with access hatches so you don't accidentally press e on it and despawn a bunch of oil from the tank.

@ravenheart I'm not sure how much oil is there. I have not updated it yet for the pressure update so it may be the system that is shutting down. I may look at it in the future.

It may be deep or maybe the game is bugged? if the drill still goes down then it hasn't reached oil yet. You'll hear a thundering sound when you hit oil
Idiotgameing 28 Eyl @ 8:29
so ive been drilling for about 30 minutes now, and it still hasnt reached oil, why?
Ravenheart 20 Eyl @ 13:29
What happens when there is no more oil to drill out? seems like everything stopped at around 40k oil in the tanks, the furnaces don't seem to be working anymore either in terms of creating diesel/jet fuel
Ravenheart 20 Eyl @ 10:40
I followed your instructions and all seems to be working well, I have the furnaces going but hard to know if its working, there are two guages, one is unmarked and is going up, the other says diesel/jet fuel and is not going up, have I just not waited long enough?

regardless, this is a great build as far as I can tell, and simple enough for a dumbass like myself. thanks for this!

has this been fixed yet? i noticed when using it, it was actually drilling/collecting oil etc.

Does not work. Drill just spins and doesn't actually go down.
