Bee's Controller Config
By alphaBEE
Tried configuration from PZ along with visual Mapping to understand better, figured to tweak it a bit for more comfortable use and less dependency on KBM.

Edited: If you search for controller configs via search option in big picture mode, you might find two "Bee's config" unfortunately i couldn't delete the previous one. Pretty much same except new one updates two more buttons for zoom in and zoom out basically.

Default

Vehicle Mode
Vanilla Controls
All the default Vanilla controls here, if not tweaked most keys/button will behave this way.

Sticks
Left Stick
usage : Movement
click : crouch
Hold : Radial Menu with options toggle auto-walk/toggle sit/ toggle crouch

Right Stick
usage: look around
click : will update
Hold: Hold and aim towards a direction will make character go into attack mode

D-pad

UP : Move through options in UI
DOWN : Same as UP(Hold to open radial menu with actions such as wave)
LEFT: Same as UP
RIGHT: Same as UP (Hold to open radial menu with MAP)

Select
Hold down to open radial menu with all the top actions available on top left screen such as Build menu, Health menu, Place furniture etc

Start
Hold down to open game main menu

Buttons

X : Mostly for interactions/menus, transferring items from inv to outside container and vice-versa.

Y: Open up Inventory/Containers/Cabinets etc

B : As back button to get rid of menus, Climb through windows/walls and Brakes when in vehicle.

A: Open doors/windows/hoods/trunks and enter/exit vehicle etc

Shoulder Buttons
LB
when in inventory, click LB to move across your equipped bags and inv

RB
Move across different containers across your character

Note: This guide will be updated with my Config files for controller soon and a bit of explanation on how to use that. For now these are your vanilla controls and you can also learn these by playing tutorial through game menu if you want. If i missed a couple of actions, it's still WIP.

If there's no mention of a button/trigger here, it means it'll follow same vanilla controls i talked about earlier.

My config has two set of controls:
1. Default(same as vanilla with minor tweaks)
2. Vehicle(added for when you're inside vehicle)

Default
Right Stick
No longer need to hold down RS to attack, simply using stick to turn around will make character go into attack mode. Much more easier on the thumbs and less chances to go out of combat stance in the middle of horde.

Clicking RS now acts as "F2" therefore pausing/playing game.

Dpad-UP
Long press Dpad-UP to switch to vehicle controls once you're inside a vehicle and use the same to switch back to default controls after you're out.

Dpad-DOWN

Long press Dpad-DOWN to switch to Health menu, same to get rid of menu.

Edit: Long Press LB(Shoulder)---->simulates "-" (negative sign) on keypad which i use for zoom out
Long Press RB(Shoulder)-----> simulates "+"(plus button) on keypad which i use for zoom in

Note: You can go to your game setting controls and set "-" and "+" for zoom out/in

Vehicle Controls
Joysticks
Right Stick
Click RS to toggle Vehicle's Lights

Left Stick
Click LS to trigger Horn/Q

Shoulder Buttons

Left Button
Long press LB opens seat menu(same as pressing Z on your keyboard) to switch seats inside vehicle

Right Button
Long press RB to start/stop Engine

Note: Long Press means holding down and releasing the button in a second. Also give these controls a try in a test run before you start enjoying PZ in your normal runs, once you get comfortable it'll be much more fun to sit back and relax on your couch while you get rid of zambies
unrelated stuff
I'd love feedback on if i should add more controls or tweak something that's more intuitive, once i get started playing more with controller. Try experimenting yourself, i can make a guide on how to Configure any controls yourself if this gains more traction. Thank you, have fun.

Hey thanks for this. I play splitscreen with my brother and the controller controls confuse him.
