No. You don't lose money though. Your subscription continues, until it is supposed to renew.
Read this as stated in the guide:
When you disable auto-renewal of your Fallout1st (Fallout 76) subscription, you will still have the subscription until it would expire.
For example, if you buy it on January 1st (and it expires on January 31st), and you cancel it on January 10th, your subscription will still be active, and you will continue to get all the benefits of the Fallout1st subscription, up until January 31st. Then it will not renew past that.
