解説

This mod adds abilities that greatly change Brotato's play style!

Abilities add a new unique ability to the game: by activating them you get different bonuses, or just kill aliens easier. They help get rid of aliens for Brotato, making it easier for him to get his way, but also some of them have debuffs!

Some abilities are pictured in the illustration, you'll see the rest right in the game. At the moment there are only 10 of them:
  • 6 abilities of I tier
  • 2 abilities of II tier
  • 1 ability of III tier
  • 1 ability of IV tier

The mod adds a separate mode to the game - the mode with abilities. Only in this mode you can use abilities. In the beginning you can choose a few 1-st tier abilities, during the game you can buy more in the store and upgrade them.



To make the game not too easy, but not too difficult either, there are changes to the ability mode:
  • Number of enemies +15%
  • Map size +20%
  • Wave duration +20%
  • Enemy health +10%
  • Enemies damage -10%

In the settings, there is an option to customize the appearance and controls to your liking

Activate abilities by pressing the arrows on the keyboard




Also the mod supports English and Russian languages

Ok solider has the worst synergie with abilities when you move the cooldown doesnt go down

I really like the idea, but it feels a little off while playing. Abilities seem pretty good early game, struggle mid game, then get so fully eclipsed by the weapons in the late/end game that they are practically useless. I understand wanting to balance them, but making the cooldown requirements jump so drastically between tiers just make the abilities feels worse and more cumbersome, especially timer based ones. It might be better to drop the counter completely and just make them a limited per wave resource (like tier one can only be used once per round, then tier two gets and extra and so on) if thats even possible. Also, would like to see more appearance options, the default white circles are kinda distracting, dark mode ftw. Again, really like what your going for, but it feels like you tried to hard to be "balanced" and over did it.
