While Barbatos plays like most Mobile Suits, it also has a few tricks up it's sleeves.

-----------------------------------------------------------The Super Leap------------------------------------------------------

It's first ability, the Thruster Leap (I forgot what it was actually called), propels you really high up into the air.
You may or may not know this, but you can actually activate midair.

Combine this with your normal jump, and you get a DOUBLE JUMP.
It can also save you from near death situations.

Barbatos' annoying mace move.
You've probably been killed by this atleast twice. It has a very short range and only hits infront of you (according to my knowledge).
Ignoring these downsides, it's an incredible move.

It stuns enemies, does major damage, and leads into a combo that is an almost guaranteed kill!
You can also dash while charging this, so don't be afraid to push with it.


-----------------------------------------------------------The Sword Stab------------------------------------------------------

Yet another stun move.
This one isn't as fancy as the leap or charge. It does push you upwards tho so that's cool.
It doesn't do much damage as the mace, and has a longer recharge, so I recommend using this one sparingly.

IMO, the best playstyle for Barbatos is the lurer playstyle. (Is that even a word?)

And no I don't mean camping. That's for stinky poo heads.


First off, you want to analyze your surroundings. Check what enemy you're facing. Never rush into a 2/3v1 situation. Never approach snipers. If there is a unit that outranges you, wait for them to come to you. Use your leap to get the upperhand (hehe), and punish them for their mistake. If possible, advance towards your opponent in a zig-zag formation.
