This is an important guide for those that play Limbus Company on Linux. Particularly for people on older hardware that need to use the launch command PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
You'll likely encounter several graphical issues that will prevent you from playing the game.
This guide will show you possible workarounds to those issues.

Limbus Company Linux blue screen on startup bug

You've likely run into this issue. Here's a workaround for it.
Note that the bug will still exist, it just will allow you to get past it.

1.Start up Limbus Company
2.Wait for game audio to start playing
3.Click 2-3 times
4.Press ALT and ENTER to go into windowed mode (if already windowed, go into fullscreen and back into windowed again)
5.Grab the window and move it a little
6.Press the window resize icon once or twice
7.Press ALT and ENTER again (game should go from blue screen to broken textures in either step 6 or 7)
8.repeat steps 4, 6 and 7 until the broken textures go away and you see the loading screen
9.Enjoy playing Limbus Company on Linux manager!

Limbus Company Blackscreen/stretched textures bug

You've likely encountered this bug when doing the following as far as I know
1.Go into the dispense section and moused over IDs (100% chance)
2.Entered a mirror dungeon node (100% chance to happen as far as I'm aware)
3.Used and EGO attack (yes this will cause that bug 100% everytime)
4.entering a Canto (it's a bit random and isn't 100% guaranteed to happen)

For Trigger number 1 (Dispense section)
You can avoid triggering the black screen bug by keeping your mouse away from the bottom and inside of the box UI holding the ID's. Meaning you have to navigate your mouse around the box to get to the other sections. As far as I know, once you click the shard section. The box becomes safe to mouse over without worry of black screening.

If you need to use EGO shards for IDs. The workaround I will be presenting for the blackscreen bug will allow you slowly and painfully mouse over to them. (As in it will retrigger and you will have to keep using the workaround until you managed to buy the ID through the UI.)

[FIXING THE BLACKSCREEN BUG]
1.Press ALT and ENTER if you're not already in windowed mode
2.Jiggle or slightly move the window (step 2 might not be needed)
3.Mouse over to the top part of the window
4.Resize/scale the window up and down until black screen bug goes away
5.Enjoy playing Limbus Company

Note: Only tested it for triggers 1-2. But it's likely to work for triggers 3-4 since it's pretty much the same bug as far as I can tell.
