U.C.S Typhoon - MR Fighter

First designed in 2343 by Then Commodore Beaumont as part of the 'Naval Regeneration Program' Code named 'Operation Resurgence'. The Typhoon is a Multi-Role Fighter and an excellent aircraft for both dog fighting as well as ground support, capable of both space and planet side combat, the Typhoon has light shields capable of taking a few direct missile shots but will not last long from heavy AA fire, the Typhoon is the most capable fighter in the U.C.S Navy. By 2345 the 'Typhoon' was in full production and implemented to all active squadrons by the end of 2346 .
