What happened?
This game is locked to 1080p resolution, 60 fps and has nearly no vertical camera freedom - all of which is a travesty, a farce and a grave injustice against you, dear reader, and PC Master Race as a whole.

Step into the world of 8K gaming with clean and crispy Neps, let your FPS soar, see the forbidden and leave a comment if you have any questions or suggestions!

Install
1) Download the mod from here[github.com]
2) Extract both files inside - dinput8.dll and nep.ini - into the game's base folder.

You can find the game folder by right-clicking on your Nep game in Steam library, choosing "Properties", going to "Installed Files" tab and clicking "Browse".
Configure
Default configuration already provides all the improvements, including unlocked framerate, camera angles and 2.0x resolution. Default screen/window size is 1920x1080.

If you wish to tune it yourself - open the nep.ini file with any text editor. If needed, right-click on it and go to "Open With".

All the options have self-explanatory names, mirroring the list of features, and have comments explaining their effect and suggested values.

Also sorry for late replies, Steam killed my guide notifications after certain update.

@k?K? Σ ?XH I've no idea about differences between these versions, never played JP myself (I'm a baka gaijin) and dunno what those fixes include - so nop.
Also wouldn't want to mess with game mechanics to avoid bonking saves by accident.

@shmayo nah, the speed of game logick is same regardless of FPS.
Can the unlock lead to some funky physics bugs? Always a potential with these locked engines, but I haven't observed that yet.

I appreciate the time you took for this, that's why it pains me to make this request but... Do you plan to fix the skill damage and the EXP like in the japanese version? I don't know if everybody remembers this but the japanese version had a patch that fixed those (I played it and I am sure it's not just a rumor), but PC version is made after the western release, which doesn't have this fix...
