How to enable the debug console

This guide shows the steps to follow to enable the debug console, then you will be able to type some commands to obtain items, add money, activate god mode and so on.

Let me explain

In order to enable the debug console we have to search the general.ini file in our game files directory.

In my case, my game file directory is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\bin\config\base

Then we have to open the general.ini file with a text editor, and we need to type the following line below:

DBGConsoleOn=true

Finally we just need to run the game and to open the debug console we have to press a special key. Sometimes the special key is the tile key, you can find it below the Esc key. For spanish keyboard press Ñ. If it doesn't work try with some of the following keys:

Enable invicibility

healme

Refill Geralt's HP bar

Ciri

Switch player character to Ciri

Geralt

Revert player character to Geralt

levelup

Advance player level by 1

addexp(#)

Adds specified amount of experience points. ex: addexp(25000)

Cat(1/0)

Activates/Disables night vision

Drunk(1/0)

Activates/Disables drunk vision

setbeard(1)

Grows a beard on Geralt

shave

Removes Geralt's facial hair

additem(name,#)

Adds designated item(s) to inventory. ex: additem(Bear Armor 1,3)

addmoney(#)

Adds specified amount of Crowns. ex: addmoney(100000)

removemoney(#)

Removes specified number of Crowns. ex: removemoney(5)

secretgwint

This command will start a Gwent Game

winGwint(true/false)

This console command will either instantly win your current Gwent Game (true), or instantly lose your current Gwent Game (false)

cleardevelop

This command will reset Geralt completely, clearing your inventory and resetting your level to 1. You will also be given starter gear

not sure if they patched it but when I was playing it, it didn't disable my achievements

Does this disable achievements? I don't want to break the game, just frustrated being a broke bitch with all these hard earned diagrams.
